When you install the game, if you have the older versions, you get three .dll files to lunch the game from.One is for

DX9, one for DX10, and the last one for DX10.1.

Hold the mouse on each of them and you get an info bar about it's API compatibility.

BTW, does the phenom require a lot

It does take about 1.52 volts to get 3.84 ghz but it still runs cool at this voltage
