  • I freaking love this song :)

  • Some of the poetry of St. John of the Cross is a lot like this as well, like the Spiritual Canticle...

  • The best on solidstate records, why did they have to go away? I suppose there is still Becoming the archetype, and Oh, sleeper.

  • One of my favorite songs!

  • If you liked this band check out: Absurd2, Benea Reach, Lengsel, Ganglion, and Aperture. Some of the same members in each band. The first two being the heaviest and best.

  • these guys remind me of a thrashier opeth, anyone else think that?

  • yeah great christian band

  • still a good song, even if it is old relatively old anyway

  • what a great song!

  • ° !! ° wow

  • i love this song its pretty graceful dude

  • best song on that album.

  • Nothing wrong with Christian metal.

  • IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII LIKE IT

  • the song is talking about God right?

  • @sh9683 probably not. I mean i love god, but i don't want to make out with him(?)

  • @napoliondynamite Haha! I can totally understand that. The thing is, aren't kissing and sex etc... physical expressions of closeness and communion with another? In the same way, they are used to convey a closeness and communion and a "being one with" in the Spirit! Like for instance Christ's people are called his bride and He is the bridegroom. Its a little weird (and gay if you're a dude) IF you look at it from the purely physical, but beautiful if it represents the Spiritual!

  • @DeathRattleShakes In other words, we don't have a romantic relationship with God. Figuratively, the song works, but not literally. I do think that is what your point is. You are also right with the bride/bridegroom example. Gloriana sounds like a good representation of this.

  • @DeathRattleShakes Nicely siad - The closeness of a relationship with God through the Holy Spirit by the acceptance of salvation in Jesus Christ is difficult to express -and wiil conjure words that often are used to express a closeness in a romantic relationship.

  • But still, it should not be weird to someone who is gay unless they are completely close-minded to the concept.

  • @DeathRattleShakes ive been a christian for almost 5 years and have never heard of christians being refered to as christs bride.........

  • @SpayceMunkye6464 in the bible we are called the bride of christ

  • @SpayceMunkye6464 how often do you read your bible? there is a lot in the bible that gives that picture. hosea for instance.

  • @DeathRattleShakes

Yeah, I remember taking a course on Chaucer and the femininity of the christian convert is something that is so puzzling to our time period. It's quite hilarious if you ask me.

  • good song indeed

  • MY FAV.
