As in Vietnam, the Afghan war is lost. As a Vietnam Vet, The only reason the US is in Afghanistan, is for the oil. If you want to do something to stop the war, get a car battery, install a solar panel & start running your computer off solar. We must quit oil. Anyone can go solar with just a car battery. I'm baffled by how people say things like, if we got out of Afghanistan, we can use the money for other things. This is a one-dimensional view of things. There's more to it than meets the eyes.

-Terrorists take over

-Unrest in the middle east = higher gas prices in USA

-High gas prices = worse economy = less govt revenue

Health care: the national debate:

This is the anniversary of Columbine. In the case of Prozac, the makers would pay any magazine, newspaper, radio & TV station to counter any "Prozac made me do it" defense.

I've talked to people who took Prozac, who had no reason to lie about their experiences, who told me they got in an agitated suicidal/ homicidal state from it.

If we want good health care, people need to start taking liquid minerals & stop taking drugs.
