Amazing gameplay and skills, for a first combo video, really worth all the effort you had.

original shinobi was on the arcade

not sure about NES, but they definitely ported arcade to Sega Masters System

then Revenge of Shinobi and Shinobi III (awesome game) on the Sega Genesis, as well as a game called Shadow Dancer

I've heard of another or two on the Sega Saturn fans prefer to pretend didn't exist

and Shinobi the PS2 (also a great game), and its sequel Kunoichi/Nightshade (same game mechanics as Shinobi but I wouldn't recommend it)

iknow a better guy he can combo an enemy into the air then switch weapons mid air and combo him down into the ground. it looked so cool i decided to try it but i couldnt remember how to combo them together

Well I kinda disagree that it's not compareable to DMC

I'm a huge DMC fan,and they are similar games

and to be honest, I liked the move at 7:10

I personally prefer DMC

but some moves seems like if they were copied from DMC ....

Btw ... is there jump cancel in this game ?

I mean can you jump on enemies ?

No jump cancel.

There is shuriken cancel and guard cancel though.

And saying it copied from DMC is actually somewhat stupid, because Ninja Gaiden's Izuna Drop was made before DMC had Aerial Rave.

And High Time isn't really that original of a move, so Ryu's uppercut in this game seriously shouldn't be called a copy.

Unless you meant something else was copied from DMC.

What I mean is that you can keep the enemy in the air that long

and some other moves makes you think about DMC when you see them

You gotta realize Ninja Gaiden came before DMC3 where the "keep enemies in the air" thing actually was more then just "shoot them while they're in the air". Ninja Gaiden was first when it came to juggling enemies while in the air yourself, while DMC1 only had you juggling enemies by shooting at it.

Moves making you thinking of DMC could mean anything you know.

Lots of sword combos look like Zero's from Megaman X for example.

Actually, you CAN juggle enemies like that in NG black. Its just much more difficult because you have to do a standing jump, which is hard because the stick is so damn sensitive.

The way I do it is connect my PS3 to my PC's components and use DScaler to record my gameplay, but I'm not sure your PC has components.

I know you are good at combos and all but I'd like to see a video where you beat master ninja dificulty on Ninja Gaiden Sigma, NGS is harder than NGB don't you agree? and NGB has better sound than NGS; it sounds more powerful.

Yeah, there are decapitations. But no human decapitations in the PAL version.

Well actually, Ninja Gaiden Sigma's Chapter 1 and 2 is harder, but to the rest Ninja Gaiden Black is harder.

Actually the difficulty when I made this video is actually Hard.

Although I've beated Very Hard mode (even Master Ninja mode) I play Hard mode for freeforming because it's the best balance of enemy agressiveness and enemy health.

Second song is a remix of "A decision" in Ninja Gaiden on the NES.

Main song is "Moritsune" from Shinobi on the PS2.

Last song is "After the Battle" from Ninja Gaiden (Black/Sigma).

Are all of these combos listed, or are these some of the supposed "unlisted" combos? I just beat the game on Hard and never did figure out how to kick people in the air or follow up an attack and slash them in the air.

I also never figured out how to grab people in midair and spiral downwards with them.
