  • Lol it's a projector on a guy with a whit coat on xD

  • I don't believe this ruck, but I do know that invisibility is possible by use of advanced systems. As I understand it is like having a flat screen television is like a piece of clothing, but these systems are highly secret and we are not going to see them because the people are invisible, this is nonsense.

  • fools dont fall for that thats just a guy in front of a projecter idiots

  • Blue-Coat and Video-Editing ftw!

  • can i guess how it works? what the fuck? if i could guess how it works, i would make one!

  • oh yeah i read this at CRACKED.COM its cool wait till they upgrade it Lol

  • I can see you! Fail!

  • why wasn't he hit by those cars?

  • I saw this article when I was in tha 7th grade... Now I'm 21 and I just discovered a live video for it...

  • "This cosmic dance of bursting decadence and withheld permissions twists all our arms collectively, but if

  • WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT! It's a guy embarrassing himself..

  • @hurlinglegends Fuck that, you mean Laughs. I nearly shit myself!

  • Has no practical use in the field.

  • Rite that's not a green screen

  • Comment removed

  • yeah... it's called chroma keying... many apps have that feature. Dumbo.

  • Projection screen and device...nothing special

  • or in other words, a green screen/opacity decrease

  • it works by using photo shop.

  • @bmacmillan not photoshopped in the slightest, the footage was filmed of the cars without the man, then the man wore a green jacket infront of a greenscreen of identical colour. then when it was edited the...cant be assed finishing..

  • @bmacmillan This thing is real. It was reported in the mainstream media around 2000-2001. A Japanese company devoloped it. Its not even a secret.

  • Nice video editing skills!

  • That was in the ripleys believe it or not

  • The poncho acts as a movie scxreen from several cameras at different angles from behind him linking live feeds into one image projected on the front. THIS is the old technology.

  • i bought one of these but can i fuck find it

  • greenscreen

  • SIGH

  • I've seen this same tech on t-shirts being handed out on an old English Saturday morning TV programme called Going Live in the mid 90's.... Definitely NOTHING new here.

  • remember the old episode of batman (the adam west 1) where joker used mirrors angled at a 45 to make his van invisible on the golf course that was the day i wanted to be a criminal. i mean invisible.

  • If I can see u, u are not invisible.

  • mines better, jk its about the same. /watch?v=r_uJXlw5sDg&feature=related

  • accually the inventor was a doctor who made a scalpal that would bend light reflections so he could see what he was cutting less chance of mistakes that way

  • There actually IS one in australia... it only works on sand... well its better than this shit

  • If it worked that great, then the truck would have ran him over!

  • if you are invisible.. how can i see you >.>

  • Never stand in the middle of a busy road wearing an invisible cloak, what an idiot he could have been killed..

  • i think its reflecting the light in such a way that it looks some what transparrent

  • @ZombieRapeTrainer No cuz then the image would just be black. If it reflected all the colours of the spectrum then it would be white and if it absorbed all the colours it would be black. Sorry, don't mean to sound like a know-it-all and if I'm wrong then I would like someone to correct me cuz I'm only in year 8 so I may be wrong.

  • @silv3rmanITFC no if was really like that you would pritty much see rainbows shooting out of the black cloak as nyan cat poops rainbows

  • @ZombieRapeTrainer Oh ok lol Nyan cat

  • you know guess what! my invisibility cloak when you put it on you cant see me!!! crazy right?!?!?!?

  • Comment removed

  • I could say mine is better cause it does not use a camera or a computer. Take that Japan! /watch?v=r_uJXlw5sDg

  • Move to the right just a little

  • you know stealth technology is already discovered. of course by stealth i mean they are only invisible to the naked eye. they have exceptionally high heat signature. which means they appear extra bright on the screen of a fighter pilot targeting him overhead. they are also visible on high resolution CCTV cameras. so don't think you can get into any vaults undetected.

  • Sh*t we gave the president a Nobell prize. Send this guy I too.

  • Wow a camera a projector and a rain jacket. Totally crap tech.

  • This was discovered 100 years ago by the first guy to get up for a piss in a movie theater...

  • @DLRisVH i couldnt have said it better thanks for the giggle

  • oooooh look green screen

  • There is a camera behind him filming, then there is a projector projecting what is being filmed onto his jacket...

  • Comment removed

  • green screen and a green rain jacket

  • oh imean why DID they see him .....i mess up alot

  • um if he is so invisible then why didn't the cardrivers see him

  • dear santa....

  • ita a projector wow

  • It works by using UV absorbing material.

  • ummm yea a projector

  • cameras on the back of the cloak project image on the front of it

  • @UltraMankiller fail.. if anything it would just be some sort of modified light refraction..

  • @obezana fail... i watched a fucking tv show on it dip shit

  • @UltraMankiller which had what? hypofuckingthetical conjecture on it. no real fucking product...

  • @obezana lol i love how stupid ppl can be :) fuck you little twat

  • @UltraMankiller dont talk to me virgin..

  • @obezana dont talk to me incompetent retard

  • they are just projecting an image onto him.

  • There was a documentary on Discovery Ch more than 5 y ago about how this is achieved. They even have it for vehicles, not only human. And later I've seen some cloaking covers on the military division of VOLVO website!

The texture is made by some kind of photocells, pixel-like & video cams recording the image opposite the cells & display it on them, so from Every Angle you see a recording of what is behind the subject, thus making it Transparent

    Example: youtube.com/watch?v=KL_KdmSTSNA

  • pretty cool but need some work

  • You people must be blind not to see the obvious. It's a projector right next to the camera to create the illusion that things are actually behind him. If you changed the camera angle you would be able to see much more clearly the trick. And the reason you can not see the projector well on his face is because projectors don't work good on dark surfaces. The real way to make objects invisible is to put it behind carbon nanotubes that are heated up to 2200 degrees Celsius.

  • no, its a mirage effect the cloak is generating via a heat based illusion.

like the ones you see on hot highways.

    we just exploit that effect.

  • Yeah, this is "real" enough to ignore completely.

  • the cloth is, we do not need to edit in the PC. From Videocame, you see directly, such as chromar keyer. The car was seen, the raincoats. but the car did not see behind the raincoat. Behind the camera raincoat, could see the car.

  • Yes, green screen.

  • it is incredible how many people can't comprehend that we have real cloaking devices. Most people can't even operate a computer so I guess I can understand.

It was discovered in American universities many years ago. Including data teleportation.

  • green screen style jacket

  • a projector lol.

  • It uses a projector and video camera with a computer to take whats behind the subject and project the image onto the subject. The reason it looks so impressive is because the 50 micron beads that make up the suit are small enough that light gets reflected directly back to the source, so the image does not look scattered or too distorted.

  • @QuantumDisciple7 because the test subject turns, the light would be directed in different directions, and away from the camera

  • @00blank00studios The material is made with such fine particles that the margin at which the light is defracted becomes minimal.

  • wtf

  • After Effects

  • Whoa, that's impressive. I assume it does something along the lines of video tape what's on one side of the jacket and play it on the other side...

  • It's not just an illusion, guys. This cloak was put together by a team at the University of Tokyo. You can research it and actually learn something before you post stupid comments.

  • covered in tiny cameras and millions of little led's something like that. I read about this before

  • he is standing infront of a projector..... oh crap.... watch out for that videoof a truck

  • this is an ARTIST IMPRESSION of an invisible cloak made from metamaterial! get it?

  • Is probably just an effect or illusion that works together with the camera, otherwise people would stop and be like "WTF", yet you don't see anyone stopping. Plus is no really an 'invisible' suit, otherwise we wouldn't be able to see him so clearly. If I'm wrong, then this is a good start, but if civilians have it, then government already have the full suits.

  • It's a green screen lmao

  • Lucky for her she wasn't invisible or the truck would have run her over, appears to be transparent but not invisible, even that might be false as a projector could be transmitting image on her clothing. Why is she standing out in traffic if she is trying to test invisiblity, does she want to get killed?

  • its used with carbon nanotube sheets i believe , so what they do is like how we see a road in a hot day its like reflecting from the sky like a mirage reflecting to us what we should see but because the object like that man is blocking but with his suit made of lets say carbon nanotube can be seen through so his clothing may be powered by electricity and thats how it works or other hand he can be a idiot and just use some special affects

  • more improved verson.. i on the yahoo australian website au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/a/-/offbeat/10401580/scientists-reveal-invisibility-cloak/

  • lol green screen or blue screen with after effects!

  • Dude really my cloaked paintball mask is much better and it only gives the illusion of cloaking about 50% not counting the lens for vision.

  • Its called retro reflectum. basically bends light.

  • there is indeed a cloaking suit made by asians , it works with cameras and screen cloak , the cloak displays on the front what the camera sees on the back ---> cloaking device. experiemental stuff . i don't know if this particular video shows the real thing tough

  • cool

  • It doesn't really look like an invisible cloak cuz you can still see the person wearing this so called "invisible cloak". It looks more like an X-ray or a see through my green dress cloak thingy.

  • No, it's real, but not just done, they are doing this cloke and they sayd about something eye's light in the TV and this clip was in TV, they spoke about how they are doing that and stuff. You can maybe see it someday in JIM.

  • OMG projectors AND a reflective jacket...someone alert the military we have a ground breaking idea here!!

  • You do know the definition of cloak?

  • Real photoshop....

  • Umm... I can see you..

  • @djuuwi I agree, but look closely at his jacket. Everything behind him is transparent, which means see-through.

  • This is real. See here: stumbleupon slash su/1Ayqhx/lifeboat.com/ex/10.futuristic.materials

  • I SEE YOU

  • It's not really a cloak... He has a camera behind him and the clothing he is wearing reflects light straight from where it's being projected. So then a projector is live-feeding that the camera sees onto the clothing, Making an illusion that he is cloaked... So unless you want to carry a camera and a projector around with you, this aint happenin..

  • @kamber56 but if I do carry a camera and projector... I can be invisible?

cause I could just rob some banks and pay some fool to carry my projector around behind me

  • @kamber56 thats how the invisibility cloaks work......you do realize we now have powerful cameras that are the size of a pea now-a-days right? or are you really that dumb?

  • its funny the thumbnail bought me here :/ it looks like he's in a lab, shame i missed the cars *face palm*

  • this is stupid a real invisibility cloak bends the light around the object and reflects the stuff around it like a mirror this is a pojector

  • @AmericanPatriot10111 you mean an invisibility cloak from science fiction?

  • this is stupid a real invisibility cloak bends the light around the object and reflects the stuff around it like a mirror

  • guys are you all thick he stops then starts the camera again

  • dear santa...

  • easy, it's made of some meta-material which somehow bends light around itself, allowing you to see what's behind it.

  • Lucky for him that the cars around him could sense his presence.

  • @MOTACJ it's only invisible for cameras do more research next time please

  • @mistervova11

    Charlie Sheen Win.

    Tiger Woods Win.

    David Hasselhoff Win.

    You -- Win.

  • @MOTACJ thanks

  • You can turn to invisible if your suit is covered with mirrors

  • @gokulauri It depends. I have thought of this too. The mirrors must be facing downward for you to even think about camouflaging yourself. If you covered yourself in mirrors your shoulders would be sky blue and everything else is the color of the horizon. I have done some tests and able to cloak a small box using mirrors but only at a certain angle. I am working on cloaking part of a paintball mask using paper like mirrors. So far so good must run more tests /watch?v=_cscSQWtIkQ

  • Where do i get one???

  • Far from green screen. These guys have been working on this at Tokyo Univ. and have been showing their results for years now. Please go read a book once and a while.

  • Cameras with screens on them on every inch of the jacket? ;)

  • you are froddo

  • fk you my screen froze

  • actually there is a color blue the camera cannot see. It happened once to a television news weather caster where i live his shirt was that color when they filmed him in front of the screen showing the weather radar all you could see was his disembodied head and two hands and then you saw him from the waist down. Si wonder if this is how they did this invisibility cloak.

  • i know how it works you just pick up a transparent pyramid thing with a blue ball in the middle of it and activate it

  • Yup, not invisibility at all... video camera/projector. 611,000 views!!? OMG... and now a lot of folks BELIEVE it is possible?? sheesh.

  • can someone send me a link on how this shit works??? please

  • @0salot its a fucking green screen dude. just like the one your weatherman uses.

  • it has small cameras and screens build allthe way through it

  • this is for real i seen it with my own eyes the police force has it and use it to to spy for bomb threats in canada and usa so all u drug dealers better get thermal cams now

  • you just took a video on the highway and someone just had to stand at the front right?

  • yeah its just a projector the light is not kinda straight

  • Bad screen is bad.

  • Guy is wearing a coat of micro thin glass beads.

  • A jacket with fibre=optics would be heavy and cumbersome. On top of that, you'd see each point of light separately. You wouldn't be able to fit a person in such a jacket, because you'd have to have an impossible amount of optic fibres running 360ⁿ around the jacket. See how he twirls from side to side. I know fibre optics. I studied them in college. Grab a brain, yours is malfunctioning.

  • You need to find a box of ammo before a scout spots you...

  • Chromakey! A computer is used to mask the colour of the coat and the background is added. The real background is also chromakeyed out. It's also known as green screen. Stupid fucking idiots who post such idiotic videos should be dragged out into the street and shot.

  • @UnderManlac Green screen would be more obvious. The outline of the person would stand out from the background, and it would be harder to see the coat. I recommend some research.

  • @valmontdracul I've done the research. Just look at his face. It's not a video projected towards him. It would light up his face too. Don't you know anything about making a film or video? This is definitely green screen.

  • @UnderManlac It isn't "projected" with a camera, its fiber-optics. Green screen is significantly more blatant than this.

  • @valmontdracul Plus this video is done green screen. Nothing is projected. They have the video scene of the street stored in a computer. They put this guy in a green jacket in front of a green screen and using chromakey technology, map the video onto the green background (in the computer).

Maybe look up green screen and see how it's done.

  • @UnderManlac watch?v=PD83dqSfC0Y&NR=1

  • @UnderManlac nice guess but it is real. japenese researcher even made a vid about it. /watch?v=PD83dqSfC0Y&feature=related

  • OK WTF is that? I see this guy pretty visible!

  • @AlejandroChaban Yes, but it's less visible than he would be without it. It would still be pretty helpful.

  • @valmontdracul helpful for what, when people can still see that he's there?

  • @AlejandroChaban In the heat of things, it's easier to miss things that you might otherwise see. It's not perfect, but it's still better than *nothing.*

  • Metamaterial,, it bends the light projection from behind to front around the user and vice versa, giving an illusion of refractive object

  • @stasgsgsgs There is no metamaterial in this video. It's called chromakey, or green screen. It's an illusion created by a computer.

  • If it's a projector, why does his face not light it up when the image should be displayed upon it? I agree with the Nanotechnology statement.

  • If its an invisible cloak, then how come I cant see her nanners?

  • Green screen

  • It's not really invisible,it's only appear 'transparent' through camera , not naked eye !

  • all of you guys are idiots..

    That's harry potters nephew..

  • Nanotechnology. That suit is a living organism that somehow bends the light around itself. This is absolutely for real

  • @champsmitty1 Wow, you're extremely easy to decieve. It's green screen, or chromakey. Same technology used on the weather report on the news.

  • for all you guys who dont understand this, hes just standing in front of a projector displaying a video of the highway on a green screen

  • Looks like a projector.

  • @bioLightbulb Coz' it IS one... XD

  • Comment removed

  • @TheBACKWARDSdude Still looks neat!

  • Guys. You are invisible only for cameras, this guy is just wearing a black raincoat. I dont mean black as black but some black material:).Thats what I heard.

  • @45masaka Could be green, yellow, red, or whatever colour. Same colour as the background. It's called chromakeying, similar to green screen. A computer edits out the colour and the background is added in it's place. Have you ever watched the weather report on the news? The screen is a greenish/blue background and the information is added by the computer.

  • oh my god SATAN go back were you came asian

  • Туфта

  • This is real BUT only using a camera.......

  • its works simply by a sprinkle of fairy dust.

  • It works with several ittybitty cameras and LCD projectors interwoven to project whatever is on the opposite side.

  • he is just standing infront of a wall with a projector shining on him..

  • PROJECTOR

  • @FP541 I was going to say the same thing. There's a camera behind him and a projector in front.

  • @liOVERLOADil How about....He's in a studio with a green screen behind, and a semi-green rain jacket. The image is overlaid with a computer. If it were a projector, his face would also show some of the scene behind him.
