The peoples of Europe are represented by their own national parliaments NOT the EU "parliaments" in Brussels and Strasbourg.
There is no such thing as a European people (only peopleS, see German Constitutional Court ruling from 2009). The court also mentioned the fact that the EU "parliament" is not elected democraticaly.
Most Europeans didn`t bother voting in the EU elections. As a lover of real democracy and not the EU farcical version...neither did I.
