I have a 04 with SelecTrac 4 wheel system..is the Part Time a Diff lock? I have problems getting this answered even at the Jeep dealership. I know i have Cooper STT tires on my jeep and i have never gotten stuck (been in some pretty bad situations to) I love my Jeep Grand i don't think i'll ever own anything else but a Jeep ever again!

il quadradrive funziona benissimo, quel giorno m'e' venuto qualche sospetto, ma i problemi erano dati dalla scarsa altezza da terra, se poggi con la pancia il quadradrive non puo' far miracoli
perchè sfasciare? non ho fatto alcun danno, effettivamente se avessi già avuto le BFG AT che monto ora me la sarei cavata molto meglio, guarda i numeri sulla neve degli altri video ;)
g4tt0n3r0, can you please give us the VIN Code from this Jeep? It is the code number on that little sign in the windshield. So we could exactly know, from wich year and month this Jeep is, and if it has Quadradrive or not.
tomorrow i'll get the VIN but the WJ is a Limited Edition and they were only quadradrive, i think i was in 4LO in this moment and the car touches on the differential so i prefere to go back (a lot of time is passed and i dont remeber well what appened)
Not all Limited came with QuadraDrive. It was not standard on Limiteds. Just watching the video I can tell it is not the QD system. You may have the Quadra-Trac t/case (NV247) but you do not have the vari-lok axles that make up the Quadra Drive system.
This Jeep cannot have Quadra Drive. Either that, or his is broken. The Vari-Lok axles are awesome. At 45 seconds in you can tell it does NOT have the Vari-Lok axles. He SHOULD be in 4LO too. This would lock the t/case. I've been in situations where two wheels were off the ground and still got through just fine. (My Jeep DOES have Quadra Drive.)
Poor little fellow only had some hockey pucks on top of his coils. Some one should buy him a nice lift kit and some new meats. Then he'd whip right through those deep holes.
what's wrong on a budget boost? i use the car every day and cant afford a +6,5" lift kit (but i'm dreaming it), the car got now new shoes, but she works fine with these slick, or not?
this one has QUADRA DRIVE? cause it is supposed to send torque to the only wheel that has traction, and i dont think this is working here, maybe is a quadratracII or something else
nice, I have a grand cherokee too, and it has quadra drive as well, but never tried doing this before, its nice to see what my jeep can do!!!, imagine with all terrain wheels, and a little bit more of ground clearance!!!, by the way its funny I lived in Italy for a year and never saw a Grand Cherokee!

Yep i think the same, why the front left wheel slip?, QUADRADRIVE should send the torque to the only wheel who has traction (in this case Rear Wheels)... are you sure its a QUADRADRIVE? Check it mine and leave a Comment, see ya x)

Maybe he has a selector that lets you select part-time 4WD
O have an 04 GC Special Edition and on my shift gate is 4WD high and 4WD low.
But I'm always in 4WD
