Krishanmurti was an aristocrat. He had a life-long pension. He was economically self-sufficient, financially free. Krishnamurti schools teaches kids to be 'free',but, in as much as they charge money to support teachers is not 'free' in several senses of the word. If some people are 'saturated' by their conditioning, there are some that are so far off the map, in this sense poor without purchasing power. lets' reverse the equation. we're all free,but the rich are conditioned..

Nothing worser than trying to explain Krishnaji. If Dr. had indeed understood K.'s teachings, he wouldn't be trying to explain him, but living his teachings. After all, these can not be filtered by any model, pattern. Another conditioning!

@Kaschperl nothing wrong in explaining J.K's teachings, but not to mention this Dr. in question here, we cannot say if there is nobody on earth who is living J.K's teachings, by means of 'observation', or what J.K had advocated throughout his life, of being choicelessly aware.

The only 'key' is to negate EVERYTHING you have ever thought you have understood and disgard every so called authority on this subject.

Only then you begin to see the pointlessness and stupitity of listening to others and completely wasting the precious life blessing of complete freedom to be the ultimate light which is within you.

It's hard for people to see that transformation they expect because people expect to see that happening materially. The transformation happens spiritually. He left the material body but he is still around spiritually, that's why we say: he passed on!

I was at one of his talks in the early 70's. He took questions at the end. Someone asked, "When is the next talk?'. Krishnamurti basically said, "If you understood this talk, you will not need to return." It seems he is merely proposing something. Once you see this proposal it is your duty not his to act upon.

Thought can only be allowed..that means the "you" that thinks its watching! Theres no trick..its almost as cliche' as choiceless awareness. Thought does not want to end..the discipline of meditation is simply sitting with the angst of the self "demanding" you DO something. Try just sitting with each thought and breathing with each thought and letting it "go' no matter what the thought seems to tell you! The seeing is the freeing!

I go through transformations everyday in my mind and my body which is naturally changing - we are all changing everyday. Krishnamurti once said he felt he was in this sate of whole and peace all the time - I think that is possible but depends on your life style - having children jobs etc makes that state pretty impossible. I do think think there are a lot of people in krishnamurti state but not politicians - it don't fit their job that is a sad reality.

As this guy is saying the conditioning might be too strong to enable a change. Perhaps it would help if a person is given a new and interesting conditioning, that would also be atractive to obtain (may promise getting wealthier, more successfull, something along these crappy guidlines;). But. This new conditioning would need to be carefully designed, so that it falls apart at some stage.

it has no power, it is just to tricky! i feel there is no power in thought but its just too too dam tricky,as i speak i am only getting fragmented as i,we,me etc.,thats the trick.. once you let go for even a second you will see how easy it is.. it had no power but it most likely will trick its way back,like i have a job to finish or in buddhas case he said "i won't enter the gates of nirvana as long as there is another being that suffers".. thats silly and thats how it tricks!

It seems that subconciously poeple consider it vital to have some sort of conditioning. Well, my point is that if it's so difficult to move people away from their conditioning, then the alternative way might be to replace their conditioning with something that later on turns out to be nothing more than a whole lot of emptiness. At this point there probbably is no way back. Cheers!

I agree, K's teaching is about discarding all the conditioning of the mind, to watch it constantly, the thoughts and all that, to disregard what someone else has said, and find out for yourself from moment to moment.
