  • Well done! I have been seeking those that do this song well for the last 2 Easters. This one is great!

  • Thank you for your comment. Are you a director or is this the first time you have found this piece and heard someone play?Hope you had a good Easter!

  • No I am not a director. I found the piano version of this song that is on my channel last Easter and decided to highlight it this Easter. I like a lot of hymns that I grew up with.

  • Absolutely beautiful. The processional gave me chills. We had a handbell choir also at my home church. I didn't appreciate the beauty of it back then.

  • Thank you for your comments. I will pass them along to the choir. Where are you from? Hope you have a nice Easter!

  • Norfolk, VA. Where is your church located? I take it from the other comments that you are the choir director?

  • Bravo! Great handbell work. It still as good as it was a year ago!

  • Thank you for your generous comments. All the hard work paid off and coming to rehearsals helps. Glad you enjoyed!

  • very lovely, i know how much practice this takes and i commend your effort. very well done.

  • How you doing? Did you get your bell choir started? Haven't talked to you in awhile so hope all is going well with the organ and you get some free time to sleep at night. No more insomnia I hope?

  • We're doin very well. yes we got a new 3 octave set of Schumerich handbells and Handchimes last Christmas. We'll be playing them for Easter also. The new organ is also installed and playing well. Not too much insomnia lately, but i expect more after July, we're having our second son! Is your bellchoir plaing for Easter?

  • Sounds good. Did you get three octaves of handchimes also? Will you be posting any pieces eventually? Is your organ electronic or a pipe organ? Congratulations on awaiting your new addition in July. Yes the bell choir will be playing on Easter, however our editing equipment is being brought up to date and once that arrives someone has to be trained on how to use the new equipment. What is the name of the piece you are playing for Easter?

  • we actually have 3 octaves of chimes and 2.5 of bells...but the bell-fund remains open so we'll purchase more as we go along. maybe i'll have my wife record this Easter. We're playing 2 songs, "Hail the Day that Sees Him Rise" and "The Wonderful Cross". the organ is electronic...no room for pipes. Have a great Easter!
