Totally crap... rankings... Biased towards UK univ's...
I worked at Imperial College, University College and Berkeley... no way that they stand close to UC Berkeley. Compare research papers, endowments, nobel prizes etc (and forgot history check even the recent 3 years and QS should know which univ stands where) ...
Highly recommend improving the analysis and reporting...
I'm sorry but I checked the ranking, it's totally biased towards UK universities. University College of London is higher than MIT !!? UCL and Imperial are in the top 10 !! and Stanford University is number13 in the world !! Plus University of Toronto is number 1 in Canada ..also how come Mcgill is 19 and Toronto is 29 !!! that makes no scene to me to at all. I
Well the rankings depend on the methodology used. QS is just one of the many different university rankings lists (each one of them use their own methodology to evaluate universities). Different methodologies will yield different results. Not everyone will agree with these results.
@IEOA yeh this methodology used is just needs lots of modifications !! I'm studying in UK and I know the best universities from the bad ones here !! but imperial and UCL can't be in the top 10 .. I can tell you this ranking they made is not accurate !!
@YAS9112 I also know that imperial and UCL are good universities and the are right behind Cambridge and Oxford, and I know Oxbridge both are on the top 10 .. no doubt about it. but imperial and UCL cant b on the top 10 !!
@YAS9112 Naive undergrads placing so much pride on where they go to school and boost its prestige....only to be dissappointed after they graduated that no one cares where they went to school.
