Sorry only just seen this. It's woven rubber matting that is usually used on trailer ramps. It's very expensive but the best non-slip surface we could find. Hope that helps.
I can't believe I have just now heard about 'Horse Agility' and that there is an accredited trainer only a couple hours away ! Looks like so much fun, and a great sport for non-riding horse lovers and for out-grown ponies ! It can't help but maximize the bond between horse and rider, with force or violence being a non-starter. I'm really excited about this !
Well spotted, I was a Parelli student back in the nineties so that's my background. However if I'd been a clicker trainer or TTouch student it would look like that. Horse Agility isn't a method you can use any style of horsemanship to compete.
Love this! I love doing ground work and now we are thinking of starting a horse agility club locally here! Thanks for the great ideas!!
