  • You know one thing I never see anyone point out..I know at least in the south, anywhere you find cattails growing you're also liable to a cottonmouth or two..

  • You can dig up the roots and eat the fresh croms most of the year.

  • is it possible to eat too much of this without getting sick?...RV.4/20/010.

  • thank you for this i am planning to make a movie on how to survive in the wilderness for 30 days and nights so our young viewers can know how to survive or any viewers for that fact so i want to make it through the 30 days

and im doing alot of research and trying to get somone to sponsor my video so i can continue with no camera man and i can be what i always wanted to be a movie star/expert in the wilderness

  • How do you identify these plants?

  • Where is that? Cattails grow everywhere, but don't mistake them for sweet flag.

While you're gathering cattails, there are also yummy frogs and crawdads within reach, too.
