They all have great cuts .Only one I found was King of Limbs , Lotus Flower and one more were good and the rest I thought was a waste of their time. I hope radiohead will continue for years to come. From an older listener.
@xvxpivotxvx lol...you are ignorant...not me, or at least you WERE. ridiculous...can't even tell a funny comment from a serious one. Really though, how pathetic. You must be from Dallas or something...or maybe LA or ....... :/ Cleveland
@diannerin You're not knowing of how other people are to this album. It's like how people like rap, and not rock. Just because someone doesn't like an album doesn't mean they're ungrateful bastards. Also, I'm from new jersey. Oh and you're a cunt.
@XJustSomeCoolDudeX Well I really don't have a favorite or least favorite album. They all appeal to me depending on how I feel at a given time. So tumbs down bro....
1 The bends 2 pablo honey 3 ok computer 4 amnesiac 5 kid a 6 in rainbows 7 king of limbs 8 hail to the theif (order of preference) acceptions: "You" "Creep" "High and Dry" "Exit Music (for a film)" could listen to those last four an infinite number of times in any order. even repetitively.
Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors is so weird but wonderful!! And I can't tell if thats Thoms voice on it. They must have really distorted it. It sounds so strange!!
One of the best albums in the last 20 years what a epic by a epic band i seen RadioHead in 2008 and they were epic they played the In/Rainbows set and songs The Bends,Ok Computer,Kid A, and Hail to the Thief. There style of music has changed alot from The Bends and Ok Computer days,Pablo Honey is now a forgotten classic if it came out today it would be one of the best albums. If the The Bends was out now it would be at number 1 for a long time Ok Computer will be a classic for the next 20 years.
@dramaticpickles Good idear i have all of Radioheads albums on vinyl and on cassettes , I think KID A just about edges Amnesiac but i like them both and I Might Be Wrong is out of this world
@Chacha5678 The whole album is about memory loss and forgeting who you are and being traped some where and cant get out thats why the album is called Amnesiac its a similar term for amnesia which means memory loss and the guy on the front of the album is in a complete mess with a red brief case,it is a dark album thats why its hard to get in to,and ive never fully understood it headphones is the best way to listen to it cz you can hear everything Thom is saying I do prefer KID A to Amnesiac
/ ok, zip it all till 43:54. I was diving somewhere in an atoll in pacific before I figured that I landed on a boat in hanimaadhoo. took a flight via delhi to chicago and caught sneeze and almost missed my meal after aspirin overdosed. pack my bag, clean up my desk and drop by a hawker to 'tapau' currypuffs for sixes before lights off at 22:14. Life is ... [that was my verdict].
The Bends and Ok Computer are my favourites, and this is the only other album that I can listen to,
I love those albums, and it's a shame that they decided to release the other ones,
the other albums are so bad, it's like they are taking the piss out of their fans, and saying fuck you for loving The Bends, Ok Computer, and Amnesiac. :-(
@mrmail16 Whats wrong with in rainbows (Including in rainbows disk 2), com lag, pupplo honey, Hail to the thief? All of there albums are great. I cant say that i dislike any of there songs.. I ach would say In Rainbows is my fav album of theirs, and alot of people will join me in saying that.
I don't know of any other group like Radiohead. They are perfectly synthesized electronic, ambient, classical and jazz wrapped up together. It's everything I need.
I got to admit after listening to this a few times, I only really like the first half. I don't hate the second half, I just don't really feel comfatble listening to the overall content of the songs.
mabye when I'm older I'll enjoy this album more, but for now, mixed opinions.
I was actually surprised how guitar-based this album is as opposed to the reception. I mean, yeah it still has like 3 experimental songs, but Radiohead's so-called "fans" wanted another rock album from them, and they definitely delivered.
It's also interesting that whenever Radiohead releases a more musically chill album, critics start saying they're not trying and it's one of their worst. Same happened to "The King of Limbs". People need to realize there's more than one formula for music.
Ok i am a radiohead fan but to be fair radiohead did use Auto-tune in some of their songs to make them sound better like in Pakt at around 02:30 when Thoms voice is weird thats auto tune
this was the first radiohead album I listened to. my friend nathan played it for me. It was a few years ago in highschool. MIND BLOWN...instant life long fan.
@FacultyBob you're kidding right? Radiohead (and this album) are the most overrated thing in music ever. They're like the biggest band in britain and the most highly critically acclaimed since like the beatles. God some people are fucking idiots.
@shauno5166 Have just started listening to Radiohead again after sticking more or less entirely to classical music for about 10 years. These guys combine precision – every note counts – with real feeling, which after all is what makes classical music so great. Genuinely surprised to find it here, although I used to be a fan. Big thumbs up ... don't really mind whether other people think it's under- or overrated, that's up to them.
@skinnycleveland everyone has different taste's and opinions ! For me, Amnesiac and The King Of Limbs are some of the best stuff I have ever heard, but OK Computer shall forever remain a classic !
The problem with Amnesiac is that good songs REALLY outshine the rest of the album, so the temptation is to listen to the excellent stuff: Pyramid Song, YAWA, IMBW, Knives out, Morning Bell, and if you're in the mood Dollars and Cents and ignore the rest. Obviously Like Spinning Plates should be listened to on the live EP as should Dollars and Cents and IMBW.
I can live without ....doors, hunting bears, LSP (album), Glasshouse and while Pakt is fun to listen to every 6 months it's only ok..
apart from some Zappa, Autechre, Eno, Can and Mars volta stuff of the top of my head (im sure theres many others), this is the closest one can get to that line where it draws the outer reaches of what the public domain regards popular music to be. And there's so much further to go...if we just separate ourselves from the void and dig deep.
I feel like it's sacrilegious to say, but I think this album is better than its sister. Which places it in the top 5 best albums of all time. Brilliant, brilliant music.
What didn't make Kid A... made another jaw-droppingly excellent, stone cold classic of raw experimentation and avant-garde electronica. Amnesiac is just another great bastion of this band's near-perfect discography.
@Perhan003 It is also in my opinion, Radiohead at their finest. First album of theirs that I bought and I haven't loved any of the others nearly as much.
when i discovered Radiohead i bought there greatest hits album. so those songs are the only ones i know by this beautiful band. so im listening to all these other songs for the first time ever. damn. all of their songs are beyond what music could ever be..
Always thought Amnesiac should have been part of a double album with Kid A. It's pretty much stuff they didn't put on it, but it was so good they gave it another album. Rare to see double albums anymore, but this one and Kid A qualify. Just an opinion though.
My top 10 radiohead songs (IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER_) - Subterrenean Homesick Alien - weird Fishes - Bulletproof (i wish i was) - Sail to the moon - Gagging Order - How to dissapear Completely - 2 + 2 = 5. - Pyramid Song - Just - No Surprises + Karma Police
Whenever I'm feeling blue, or that something's missing in my life, listening to this makes me feel so much better. Now that it's been around for a decade, I think it's safe to say that this is a classic Radiohead album in its own right. It shares the same gloomy warmth of Kid A, but I find these tracks more soothing, melancholic, and oddly tranquil - it's not quite as doom-laden as its predecessor, but it's charmingly experimental and just as groundbreaking.
@WORLDOFWARCRAFTGODD World of warcraft is for people who are afraid to leave their house. Are you a troll on wow too? Cause you suck at being one here.
Get rid of morning bell remake and put in the amazing sounds of orgy...

Always thought Amnesiac should have been part of a double album with Kid A. It's pretty much stuff they didn't put on it, but it was so good they gave it another album. Rare to see double albums anymore, but this one and Kid A qualify. Just an opinion though.

My favourite by the band, and one of the only four albums in the world that got 5/5 rating from me - overwhelming honor for the album :)
