Julie Petty's disability is completely different from Ashley X's. Ashley X is bed ridden, cannot communicate and will never advance to any sort of independence. I'm not advocating or opposing the choice of Ashley's parents, but comparing Julie and Ashley is comparing apples and toyotas.
