Besides the already mentioned minor issue - this video is amazing! Thank you for doing this. I've got the MCAT in 4 days. Great visual aid and description!
Very clear. I was just reviewing for a test and i'm so freaking happy, i knew most of what you were saying. Thank you so much. Best teacher EVER. Better than my anatomy and physiology teacher.
I just wanted to point out one common error made in this video and that was at 4:45 of this video where he said the pelvis drains into the "urethra", which of course is incorrect as we know this structure is called the "ureter". Very common mistake to mix those names up even by professionals but I just wanted to make sure no one studied the wrong name. Other than that great video!
Great video & excellent explanation...Extremely helpful especially for students (like me) who don't have any time to attend lectures at university...Please continue such great work!!
I love you Dr Fabian and the person who posted this Video, it is extremely helpful to me especially because am taking Anatomy online and don't really get to receive the lectures. If i had this video for all my courses, trust me , i would never go to class except on the day of the exams. Thanks a whole lot and may God grant you more and more knowlegde so that you can share with some of us who are unable to attend classes on campus Thanks and a big you! i love you for real. you are fab
Thank you, thank you, thank you. This is even the exact model I have in class....but I live far away from my lab and am unable to go on weekends to see them up close. This is awesome.
that is extremely well explained. thank you so much..you are the only person ever mentioned 2 minor calyxs makes the major calyx ! well done. so useful.
Thanks for the video!!! I cant say enough how much it dose help me to learn. I have a final in 3 weeks and it was killng me becuse I couldnt get all that in my head....and then I found this ..Yay!!!!
fyi-toward the end of the video, the ureter is incorrectly called the urethra (urine going from minor to major calyxes, then renal pelvis, then ureter, not urethra).
alz-I believe the blue dots are to represent the nuclei of the podocytes which form the visceral layer of the glomerular capsule.
What are the blue dots overlaping the capillaries podocytes epithelium. Thank you for this lecture. I am wiritng a preventative program for the NIH and it is very, very, helpful.
How is further waste material secreted into the proximal/distal convoluted tubules? Is it by diffusion through the side from capillaries? I though that all waste material had to pass through the Bowman's capsule?
Excellent video. Very helpful. I'm in veterinary school and I needed to review renal physiology for my medicine exam. Thanks you helped alot!!!!!!!!!!!
you are GREAT at step by step explanations!! we have these exact models for my A&P course and I feel so confident for my thursday lab and lecture exam on thursday by watching these videos and reviewing them..thanks so much!
amazing video. now there is no need to go on lectures ))) it is quite enough to sit with my cowonq5 at the roof catching some sun , & study all this stuff ))))

I think you made a mistake. After the urine flows out from the kidney, it is squeezed down the ureters to the urinary bladder.
