weird thing, i'm 21 years old, my dad played this when i was young... i still love this song even when it has a new entire meaning to me now... i still have that old LP that my dad gave me on my 10th birthday... i play and produce Drum and Bass, respected DJ and somehow this was one of the most crucial songs in my entire life!
My great friend, Fredda Anderson is J. Frank's 1st cousin and when he was at their house, J. Frank came across the steet and gave me and my brother a copy of this song. Many don't know, but this record was the last song of it's kind and knocked the Beatles out of nubmer 1 in 1964. He was such a great guy. I went to his grave in Lufkin, Texas with his mother in 1993 when I was writing ONE HIT WONDER and it was so moving.
This is how my Gradma died about 17 years ago my Grandpa & Grandma were on there way to Las Vegas *R.I.P. Grandma Margaret December 7,1941- April 8, 1994*
It was the summer of 1966 in Houston, TX. I was spending the day working in my dad's hamburger joint. A little boy about 10 years came in and we were talking about the Beatles. A man in a three-piece suit was waiting to place his order and waited patiently. He asked what I thought of the "The Last Kiss." "Oh," I said my little brother plays that song over and over and I'm soooo sick of it." He said, "Well, I'm J.Frank Wilson." He was a good sport but I was naturally embarrassed. Nice man...
Check out Last Kiss (new version by the original Cavaliers of J. Frank Wilson and the Cavaliers fame). It has old photos showing the group in the 60s and as they are today!
Ty so much I love this song too. It is hard to find because of all the remakes of it. Also did you know this is not the original make of the song this is a remake too lol!
The original by Wayne Cochran is hard to find because it was not very successful. It wasn't until the J. Frank Wilson cover that the song charted. I believe Cochran was with Gala Records.

and we find ourselves today flooded with degenerate nigger music, sluts pretending to be singers and fags as the new role models for our kids.
White Man, wake up.
