Ok, let's see now. You pull the vest from the weak side hoping it will clear the weapon. I don't think so. This method relays on Murphy's Law too much. What if the garment gets stuck on something (including the gun/holster). It is not a reliable technique. Provided you have the right garment gun/holster combination it might work.
@Aussie038 if you put a little bit of weight in the front of the draw side vest pocket it helps to swing out that portion of the vest. when you yank it it should catch on your hip and swing out plus carrying it right behind the hip helps not to catch anything this method works great because it draws attention towards the fist holding a corner of a jacket or vest flying at you when little do they know you about to draw your hand cannon and make someones day a lot worse
The best book on Concealed Carry, and legal ramifications is Massad Ayoob's book on Deadly Force. It is well thought out and professional. This was a very clever approach to getting clothes out of the way. It helps to have an extra magazine in the pocket going back since that weight helps get it to swing clear and you gain more ammo.
i sewed a heavy magnet near the bottom of my vest on the right side making it easier to flip back. I will have to try this technique that you demonstrated.
@Egzecutor murder?? wtf does that mean?? im sure first of all if hes carrying a gun hes allowed to do so and if thats the cause im sure he knows his laws and most of those state in self defense you can protect your life and another persons life!! unless you live in a state where you have to try and flee first! hahahaha some people! besides carryin the gun isnt what gets you charged with murder, using it is what cause m u r de r death kill
@satinwarship Why to carry a gun if you do not intend to shoot anybody? And if you decided to shoot someone, even in self-defense, some liberal DA would most likely charge you with murder and you would have to spend a fortune to defend yourself or go to prison, unless you are a cop (they never are charged even if the use of gun was not justified). In my opinion the risk of being prosecuted is quiet high ....you decide.
@Egzecutor So you rather be dead, or watch a family member be killed than to draw and end it? There is a saying though "I rather be judge by 12 than carried by 6"
Why have car insurance if you never even get in an accident or get stopped by a police officer?
@vash241987 The odds of being pulled over by cops are much greater than being in a situation that would require using a gun. You would save your life and spend it in a prison....that's just brilliant. Like I said, the odds are really high that some liberal DA would charge you with murder ...and jury is usually clueless they convicted many people just on circumstantial evidence...
@Egzecutor well I so far I have not...I guess I beat the odds. If your fine with your views then ok. I'm willing to take the risk, have you even considered other CCW that have been saved and they are not in prison? Thats the problem with todays mainstream media, they barely show the other side of CCW and its use for saving lives.
@vash241987 I am not against CCW. I believe that the streets are safer when people are able to carry. I simply emphasize what might be the consequences of using a firearm even in self-defense. If you willing to take the risk more power to you...It wasn't my intention to prevent you or any other person from carrying a gun. and using it in self-defense.
@Egzecutor Lol it did seem that you were...but this is the internet. I believe that a CHL class is a MUST, espically for those who do not know alot about their local laws. It took me two years until I decided to carry, it gave me time to be comfortable and proficient with a gun, but then there are those who buy their first handgun and then take a CHL class like one of the guys in mine. It is a big responsibility for us CHL holders to continue to learn and keep up with local laws
Great shooting but what one my concerns is what if u come in contact with a guy who can also shoot and just fast, that would scary wouldn't you think?
I wish I had a range around here in al. were they would allow me to practice drawing my weapon and firing, but there to caught up in liability issues and stuff like that to even allow that. I guess I'll have to continue practicing without ammo dry firing in my bedroom, lol, but I won't be able to see how I did cause there no rounds going down range at a target, that sucks
I practice using the flashcaps..when I can't get to the range..down in the basement..the darker scenario makes it easier to see..not the most ABSOLUTE of practice training..but one does what one can do...find them at midway usa or CTD...
I wonder if this guy is really a pro? Whats that left hand doing? Hes going to shoot his hand sooner or later? Draw the gun smoothly, know the basics!
The left hand pulls the left side of the vest, which pulls the right side of the vest behind it, thereby exposing the gun. It keeps him from having to fumble inside his vest for the gun. It's standard procedure.
it's not called a clip, in police academy, when we called it a clip, the instructor put a pink hair clip in your hair for the day, and hopefully the next day you will call it a magazine.
A) Everybody knows what "clip" refers to; however, not everybody knows what "magazine" refers to, hence my decision to use "clip"; and B) Even if I didn't know, somebody already pointed out the correct term, making your condescending reply completely unnecessary. That being said, have a thumbs-up for being factually correct.
Not the most graceful but fast as fuck.

You are correct sir. He removed the clip, then ejected the round in the chamber. That is exactly how to clear the gun.
