I'm working with my close friend on a version of this piece for two tubas. It's gratifying to see that these guys had problems in the same areas that we are struggling to work through. Beautiful interpretation, best by far on Youtube.
I don't agree with those that find the Video response good. Eklund et al. has no tone compared to these two guys. Harrison and Bennett have a much richer and fater tone than Eklund. Eklund's tone is so thin and dead in comparison. Especially in the high range and very low range. Not much point in playing on an 'authentic' instrument when you make it sound like that (Eklund's trumpet is a fake model).
