On the DVD commentary for this episode, the guys basically said that this was like an episode of "Bewitched!". And it really makes sense.

Batman is like Darrin, Zattana is like Samantha, Circe is like Serena, etc. Also, pretty much the entire plot revolves around trying to help Wonder Woman after being turned into a pig by Circe, a situation pretty reminiscent of plots in episodes of "Bewitched!".
