colerain is so good at football that when we (fairfield) played them, we had the choice of having the game be televised or having it be the homecoming game. colerain won i think 61-0 at our homecoming, we just didn't want everyone to see us get wrecked by colerain on national tv lol, but then again, we are pretty terrible lol

Alabama is nowhere near Ohio HS football, Alabama is Prattville, Hoover, Vestavia Hills, and Spain Park. Ohio has so many teams that would win other states state titles except CA or TX. Those teams are Massilon, Canton McKinley, St Ignatius, Colerain, Stubenville, Moeller, Youngstown Cardinal or Ursuline.

And im not an Ohio homer (Im from Michigan) so that is the most non-biased opinion and respect I have for their HS teams.

you fail to mention that 10 of michigan's wins against the sec came against, vanderbilt...which is usually the worst team in the sec. and 6 of those other wins came against teams that are no longer sec members (georgia tech) (tulane). so you take those away and michigan is a sprakling 3-5 all time against sec teams.

Colerain didn't beat Hoover, Hoover lost that game. If they just kicked the field goal in regulation instead of going for the touchdown they would have won. But that's a coaching error. Not taking away from Colerain they played a good game, but they barely won.

i'm from montgomery county maryland i go to Qunice Orchard hs we went undefeated this past football season and wont states...we finished the entire season including playoffs and the the state game w/a record of 14-o and we can crush both schools at football.

Mckeesport has produced 5 nfl starters, 3 of which have gone on to play in the super bowl, has 2 wpial and piaa titles, has made the playoffs for 13 straight seasons and has a hall of fame coach in George Smith who has over 200 career wins. The Tigers have been ranked as high as 3rd in the nation during their 1994 undefeated season.

Hoover isnt that great this year. My team, Mountain Brook (we're one of their region opponants) only lost to them 24-10 and were winning 10-7 at halftime. Last year they beat us 41-8 and a similar score the year before that...

This had to be the greatest game i have ever seen for in high school. even better than Lakeland vs. St. X last year. I was standing on the other side of the field and was so scared that hoover was about to win but they didnt.

Last year's Lakeland/St.X game was my favorite, too. However, Elder/Independence is now that #1 spot for me. Ohio won the BIG games this past weekend. Nationally #3, #5, #10, and Hoover all go down to Ohio teams. Go figure.
