yeah the people saying a250f couldnt do that are wrong, it looks pretty packed and could probably be done a a 125-150 trail bike if you kept the rpms up
@ghillie08 yeah i think ur right bc the bikes would have a long enough run but on the second part the rider would need to coast up over while keeping the rpms up and give it all its got personally from experience.. a 2007 Honda CRF 100F trail bike could have a chance of makin it.. they are pretty good on hills. they arent too fast though but have the torque and power delivery and the right gearing and if u had the right tire lol
@MrTopramen12 maybe if someone weighing less than 120 pounds tried it. The 250 4 strokes don't have enough umph unless you get them screaming to climb hills like that.
@wabashofutah a 250 4 stroke would do fine on this hill. 4 strokes are actually the way to go on the hills I ride...they got the torque! Both 2 and 4 strokes are great machines, just different power delivery.
@soleman68 If you are in say 1st gear and pull the clutch and let it coast up pretty fast it will blow the clutch on a car, the clutch will spin as fast as the rear end is turning. I don't think it would be an issue with a motorcycle, but I blew a truck clutch coasting down a rough hill. I had it in low gear and 4 wheel drive low range lettin compression hold me back, it smoothed out so I let it coast to maybe 20 mph, it slung the backing off the clutch plate.
no everyone has the wrong idea on 2 strokes..they dont need alot of maintanence, and there piss easy to rebuild its unreal i trail ride a yz250 had the same piston and rings for 8 months i changed them last week hardly any wear and i beat the piss out of it
Nice dude. I have been to that spot before. When I saw it i thought it looked like Harlan... then I read the description. I hope I can go back sometime with my new to me yz 250.
