  • hey at least the cpu and the gpu are kept cool :)

  • itroll3fun and tmad40blue shut the fuck up you guys sound so stupid right now.

  • tmad40blue, don't be such an ass.. it's a simple mistake!

  • You'd better be the one that shuts up, since you have no idea what "being an American" means in other countries. It's nothing but negative. And bringing "Peace and Freedom" to a country basically means destroying the country's land, culture, etc., killing people as examples, taking over the government and economy, and selling the people their own resources.

    Think before you talk, ok?

  • I don't think you read my comment very carefully. Or you're retarded.

  • I think he was being satirical.

  • actually dumbass most people in other countries think very highly of america, REMEMBER- "Land of Opportunity" k so just stfu

  • Sorry, but land of opportunities?? Where are you caught? in The 19th century? Well todays picture of America is a little worse...

At least in my country people won't understand why you think it is your duty to bring democracy to every country (especially the ones with natural resources)

  • go bash ur nads in faggot

  • didn't hear anything

  • blaa

  • All you have to do is download smcDownloader. You can make the fans go faster and slower

  • You need to do the SMC macbook update, leaves fan on all the time at 1500 rpm. Top speed for teh fan is 6200.

  • i dont know why people are flipping out about the fan, it's run by somthing called a motor. Motors make noise. Thats like saying my car "vrooms" too much.

  • Hell yes some one with a little sennse and humor...

  • there are 2 fans!

  • The only way you can stop the mooing is put more than 1 fan in it or cut the power lower or sumwhat

  • does anyone know how to change the temp at which the fan comes on cuz' my macbook keeps overheatin

  • you might have a heatsink problem. Mine was overheating as well sent it back works like a dream

  • I do. Download smcFanControl and then you can change the speed of the fans.

  • It moos!

  • The Fujitsu LifeBook P7120 is fanless, it has a decent Intel ULV 1.2Ghz with new chipset 945GM. No lousy fan!!

  • lol i agree with devin6687 the fan should go at a slow speed i would be happy with a constant sound but on and off would drive me insane

  • The Apple MooBook.

  • Well I have the 2GHz MB and while using VLC, EyeTV etc. the temperature is 67C and I really have to say that mooing is starting to get annoying. First I didn't notice it at all but after the 1st time I heard it, now I hear it clearly all the time. I wonder if the fan bearing (dunno what's the correct word) likes that too much. I hope Apple will release firmware update to MB like they did to MBP (dunno if it helped).

  • you should download smcFanControl

  • Well I posted that 8 months ago when there wasn't the program you mentioned. But yes, it is great program to get temperature down with around 3000rpm. And of course there was one firmware update that fixed the mooing months ago.

  • I've never heard anything that I'd consider a mooing sound coming from my MacBook. Sometimes I can hear a woosh sound when the fan comes on, but it sounds nothing like a moo. I'm actually quite surprised that the fan wouldn't run constantly at a very low speed rather than switch off and on like this.

  • I agree.I didn't hear anything either!!!

  • No computer is going to run completely silent unless you have it turned off or completely soaked in coolant. Personally, I think you are demanding way too much and all of the MacBooks I've heard (including my own) are among the most quiet computers I've ever had a chance to use.

None the less, I hope you find a solution to your mooing, whatever that may be.

  • Well, my Toshiba Satelite Tablet PC isn't compleatly silent, but at least it doesn't sound like a cow on crack...

  • that's a really small cow you've got there :)

  • HAHAHAH! you legend, now that made me laugh.

  • Do you want big cow? No problem..
