Well i just got the hole series and im quit saddened that they never made more series this was such a good show to watch it done very well as for jj abrams movie *Star Trek* its ok but it doesn't even connect to the other series MAKE ANOTHER STAR TREK SERIES OR CONTINUE THIS ONE! i would say its not to late
Yeah it's too bad Enterprise wasn't supported by fans as much as the other series. Watching it now on line, I find I like it better now than when it was actually on the air. I think the show would have gone over big if it had been aired at 10:30PM CDT like STNG was. Primetime just doesn't lend itself well to sci-fi fans. Star Gate originally aired after STNG and that's how I got hooked on it too. It's tough being a Trekkie in primetime when other people want to watch something else.
It was sad that Enterprise went off the air. However, after we got Battlestar Galactica and that turned out to be a great show thanks to Ronald D Moore.
I have to admit, the first 3 seasons of Enterprise were questionable, but seriously, Season 4 was MINT! WHY DID THEY CANCEL IT THEN AND NOT WHEN THE SERIES WAS GOING TO END! (lol)
i was very disappointed with paramount when they scrubbed enterprise, they had so many more stories that still needed explaining ... i guess they will be left to the writers now, just a shame that they wont be seen actually acted out anywhere else other than our own minds.
is it just me, or do americans not look beyond their own backyard for TV ratings?
i knew loads of trekkies, both closet fans and fully open fans when i was in college in europe, always had someone to talk about it with...
I miss this show so much. The recent "Star Trek" movie didn't have half the goods as ANY Enterprise episode. In fact, I think Enterprise was my fave Trek series. I loved the characters, loved the ship, loved the whole approach. The writing was probably better than any other trek. We really lost something good here. I even miss the theme song.
@machielste1 I love Enterprise, but the problem I have with other star trek series is that the episodes don't interconnect very well between each other. But in Enterprise you feel like there is an on going story, a master script. rather than individual story's that have no real bearing or consequence on what happened last week or the week after. I do like the other trek series, but not as much as enterprise.
Enterprise was rather Technologically limited in the first 2 seasons. It was'nt until the Xinid threat when the ship decided to get some serious upgrades. The 3rd Series was awsome. I remember watching the last episode of it when Archer blew the Xinid weapon up. Running in slow-mo from the exploding weapons core. I thought man this shit is awsome. The 4th series was just as good too. It's a damn shame it was canceled. Bakula did a great job, Trinneer and the others. I've got all 4 seasons.
Our mission has been canceled, many people are in greif of this, and I feel that greif, But I don't fear it. Our mission might be over but our legacy, will never die.
Having been a fan all my life and currently watching the repeats on Virgin 1 here in the UK, I think Enterprise became one of the best of the franchise. I wasn't sure when it first aired but fits well in these doom and gloom times.
Paramount made many poor decisions with Enterpirse. The fourth season ended up being the best of the 4 at least in my opinion. These days tv gives a show about 5 episodes to become popular and if it doesnt they move it around about 5 times to all sorts of different time slots. Well no wonder no one follows the shows, no one can figure out when they're on! Plus, they should know from experience that every Trek series got better as time went on. Saddened by the loss...
It does suck. I was really hoping they'd get into the whole romulan war section of the trek history D=

@brucekirk89 yea, personally I really like the last SG Universe series, but the first two, SG1 and SGA were rubbish compared to Star trek enterprise.
