You stop the same way you would with a snowboard (but with wheels). If you watch the video from the Freeboard channel called "Freeboards Explained," you can see that when they do those spins, they are balanced up on two caster wheels on either end of the board. To stop or break, you would balance up on the caster wheels, turn the board so its horizontal to the direction you are sliding, then lean back so the back wheels create drag, thus slowing you down.
