Great Video. Has anyone ever used the Millennial Crutches? They have a spring shock in the bottom and cool handle design. I have seen some pro athletes on them before. They look cool.
I don't understand why he says put the crutch opposite the affected leg. If the goal of crutches is to get weight OFF the affected leg, wouldn't you want to support it? I've used crutches many times, and doctors/nurses, fatuously swollen with book-knowledge, have told me I shouldn't use the crutch on the same side as the affected leg. And yet, when I try it their way it hurts like a banshee, and when I try it my way it feels fine.
@dantebbe Imagine your right leg/foot is injured. If the crutch on your left side, it allows you to lean on towards the left for support, thus taking some pressure off of the right side.
Can you show us how to actually *walk* using them? Knowing how to adjust the height is useful. But how are you supposed to walk when you must completely walk without using a damaged leg?
Those crutches aren't very common in Germany. My crutches look totally different. But they serve the same purpose. But i guess crutches are cheaper here. I just had to pay 5 Euros.
does anyone see the hand foot pain how to treat a sprained calf looks like a vag?
