Actually no one believes that either.. People try to use IQ tests to prove this but they scientists dismiss the results because the tests have been proven to be culturally biased and problematic. They did not produce the type of radical advancements that should be called genius (a watered-down word these days). Let's define race. According to classical anthropology, there are only four: Caucasoid, Mongoloid, Negroid, Australoid (almost extinct). These are based on cranial structure and brain size, not on skin color (which is due to amount of melanin). You have misunderstood "race."
2) (Continued) People of India, Arabia, Persia, Afghanistan all have Caucasoid cranial structure. Since they have lived closer to the tropics, their evolutionary skin tone is darker. Europeans lived far away from the tropics, hence evolving a light melanin-deficient skin tone. Blond hair, blue or green eyes are also caused due to lack of melanin, which is why blonds are common among Nordic types, who lived in northern Europe. And by the way, Mongoloids have bigger brain sizes than Caucasians.

Yeah, I've always liked McWhorter, unlike the Jesse Jacksons and Al Sharptons who don't feel the need to take responsibility and find it more fitting to place the blame on other people. I'm not saying that state-enforced discrimination doesn't contribute to the condition of Blacks currently -- even the most conservative think-tanks concede that -- but it does not good to constantly complain about it. McWhorter's book "Losing the Race" is a great read.
Yeah, we completely agree. If you liked "Losing the Race," be sure to pick up his follow-up, "Winning the Race." His emphasis on taking responsibility and being in control of what you can is powerful stuff. He recognizes the problem of racism, but knows you can't wait for that to be erased, you have to act now, there's enough of a door open. I've been lucky to have a correspondence relationship with him, he's a good guy, too.

They tell more of how modern a group of people are rather then their intelligence. Yes indeed. We could easily ignore the non-white opinion on this subject and be just fine. As you mentioned, it is the "most whites included" who are the biggest danger to their own kind. It's going to take some eye-openning education to turn the tide. That, or a cohesive group of whites who will not be deterred and who have the power to back up the assertion of their right to associate. Integration always results in violence, always has... always will.

They did not produce the type of radical advancements that should be called genius (a watered-down word these days). One more note: Look at the complexity and beauty of the art of Europe. The paintings, the music. Symphonies utilizing widely varied sonorous instrumentation. The forms: canon(contrapunctal) by Bach, Beethoven the master, Chopins piano, Padanini's violin, etc. the list is too long to treat properly here. Paintings? French impressionists use of color to represent light, Davinci's masterpieces, etc. etc. Compare that mastery to the two dimensional paintins of other cultures.

Let's define race. According to classical anthropology, there are only four: Caucasoid, Mongoloid, Negroid, Australoid (almost extinct). These are based on cranial structure and brain size, not on skin color (which is due to amount of melanin). You have misunderstood "race."

Europeans lived far away from the tropics, hence evolving a light melanin-deficient skin tone. We do agree on many points. But I am making the added point that truly complex innovation has come almost exclusively from white (yes lacking melanine) males from central europe. I also draw conclusions based on my own observations. Like: chinese are good copycats but lack innovation, artistic originality, and social intelligence. McWhorter said that blacks need to address their longstanding social problems, quit blaming it all on racism, and stop giving real racists like Jared Taylor ammo to shoot them with. Yeah, I've always liked McWhorter, unlike the Jesse Jacksons and Al Sharptons who don't feel the need to take responsibility and find it more fitting to place the blame on other people. I'm not saying that state-enforced discrimination doesn't contribute to the condition of Blacks currently -- even the most conservative think-tanks concede that -- but it does not good to constantly complain about it. McWhorter's book "Losing the Race" is a great read.

Yeah, we completely agree. If you liked "Losing the Race," be sure to pick up his follow-up, "Winning the Race." His emphasis on taking responsibility and being in control of what you can is powerful stuff. He recognizes the problem of racism, but knows you can't wait for that to be erased, you have to act now, there's enough of a door open. I've been lucky to have a correspondence relationship with him, he's a good guy, too.

So, I'm definitely in the McWhorter camp, and tackling head on the pathologies plaguing the black communities, I see much of that as self-inflicted, but I reject Jared's view that it's because of inferior genetics.

I find it very hard to believe that two human populations living completely isolated from each other for many many thousands of years can be genetically the same. And it doesn't take much logic to understand that there are genetic differences because that's the reason we don't look alike. Watson made the same mistake that Jensen, Murray and jared make, they make their claims on IQ tests, yet there are at lewst a dozen diffderent IQ tests out there, and none of them are coefficient. Watson claims he was talking about the adaptive and environmental issues in Africa causing all the problems. The Project found that there are negligible

Well, I actually knew Jensen years ago, he served on the board of an Accred Council I worked for. His mistake was the same as Watson, Murray, etc., he relied soley on IQ as a measure of intelligence, and assumed that all were equal coefficients, which they are not.Also, along with Rushton, they were all educational psychologists or ED.D's, not geneticists. Your reference is nearly 40 years old and thoroughly discredited--the genome proj of the last 10 years has blown away all the IQ arguments.

The APA, in response to Jensen's work defending the Bell Curve, issued a response by numerous psych's stating there was little evidence for genetic differences in intell. Look up the basic findings of the human genome project, just goole it, there are countless sources and articles about the findings on intelligence--the findings show that genetically there is not much difference at all among the races, virtually none. Jensen's 2005 book was a rehash of his "69 paper. Jensen's not a geneticist.

Jensen has constantly hedged on the issue of heredity and intell., whenever he is confronted directly, over the years, he has always retreated. IQ testing is a very flawed method of asessing intelligence, genetics is a far superior methodology. Jensen claims that there is no evidence, either way, a monumental hedge.
