Hey Shapelander do you happen to have a the version of James Brown's .".Hey Hey I Feel Alright" Re done by Victor Uwaifo? I think he did a very good job on that recording.
Choi, this song dey burst ma dada. Good Nigerians, good creativity, good people, good talents, good every, I hail. Edo, Naija plus AFRICAN boy for LIFE!!
I read in some liner notes that when this song came out it was the biggest hit in many countries in Africa. I can only find two of this guy's songs, he's got this killer song on the "Nigeria 70" compilation.
@rutaloot ...lol, that's sort of coincidental. I'm 17 and from Mexico and I love this track too. Did the FIFA world cup concert lead you here as well? Well, at least in the sense that The Very Best played "Warm Heart of Africa" and they sampled from this song.
@figaroatl haha well that is a pretty big coincidence I guess two teenagers from Mexico have really good taste in music! :)…..no what happened is I had a song called West African Safari from this same artist and uploaded it to Youtube and then decided to look him up to listen to more of his music and I found this great song!
@rutaloot How did you get your hands on something that awesome?! Are we talking like an actual record or something? I'll check it out on your channel :)
@figaroatl no it was something I had found online that would have been even better if it was an actual record though!....I have a few compilation CD's with a lot of this type of music from Nigeria and some other African countries if you would like I can upload some of them for you online :)
Did you say, Edo?......Dang!, I've been telling people Victor Uwaifo, was Ibo......Don't none. Song rocks.........If you see a Mermaid, never you run away.......Or, if you see Daryl Hannah........she portrayed a Mermaid in the 1984 movie "Splash"
Will ever Love dis!!!!!!!!!! Sir u are d voice of Edo people. Thanks again 4 all ur sweet songs. My Father use 2 play dis very one in all his Sunday Edo meetings in Warri, 2 remmeber our people were they are FROM!
