  • could you make a detailed diagram and post it here on youtube please?

  • @arsacd sorry, I cant as I scrapped this thing long ago and dont know the exact size of the parts I used. Your best bet is search more on youtube and google.

  • Hey, nice build. But you understand that this is not a thermoacoustic engine right? Its a sterling engine.

  • hypnotic...

  • Good Performance for the small flame and this very simple construction.

Great that you had success with running it !

  • very clever.

  • thanks!

  • I noticed you do have a restrictor between the hot and cold side, what is the diameter of the small hole in the center please let me know cheers

  • its about 4mm and the hot tube is 15mm inside and cold side is 17.5mm inside

  • Thanks

  • Nice! 5*

  • What is a lamina flow machine? I would like to learn about it.

  • @ ikcti

What if you would simply google for it ?

  • Really nice.

Make it into a fan! or something of that sort.

  • That's already a very well done engine. Build a small alcohol burner and you will enjoy a 1000 rpm engine. Cheers...

  • about 500 its abit slow when i get finer wool ill make a new video

  • You can speed it up by reducing the test tube volume and / or increasing the piston stroke. I use 30 mm stoke in my engine. The test tube size (not the one on the video) is 100 x 11 mm. With this configuration I sometimes measure 2000 rpm (depending on the engines' mood :)

  • yea i found out that my stroke is too small i think ,so i might try the 30mm stroke thanks :P

  • cool!
