  • a planet isn't it expansion

  • favourite Sheldon quote: Is your womb available for rental?

  • Say Selena Gomez 5 times

    Clap 5 times

    Post this on 2 videos

    Then check your voice

  • is that from the real band?

  • @pizzatacoguy yes, this is the real band.

  • 1 word! BAZINGA

  • the drummer failed a bit when they repeated=)

  • @krakenmaken forgot a cymbal, what are you complaining about

  • Does he say the planet started wait?

I think he means expansion started wait.

  • @lracuda76 jajaj yes...

  • @lracuda76 are you really gonna correct the guy who wrote the song? he can do whatever he want's with it, it's their song

  • @nightmareX1993 He can choose to do what he wants with it. However what he did was make a mistake.

  • @lracuda76 once again, he wrote the song, therefore, he cannot make a mistake with it. whatever he does with the song is acceptable, because he wrote it.

  • @nightmareX1993 Two things, 1. What he sang was technically incorrect, that makes it a mistake, from a certain point of view, the correct one, ie Mine. 2. When he originaly wrote it he got it right and so wouldn't have purposely sang it wrong, he didn't mean to sing what he sang, he made a mistake.

  • @lracuda76 *sigh* let me break this down for you. you didn't write the song. he did. he can do what he wants with it. you can't judge him for it.

  • @nightmareX1993 I'm aware I didn't write the song, that's something we can both agree on. He sang something he didn't mean to, that is called a mistake.

  • @lracuda76 hate to argue, but i'm pretty sure he meant to sing it like that

  • Has anybody heard the full song? It's really good ;)

  • Comment removed

  • i don't remember who,but one of the guys from this band played Captain Buch Flowers on Red vs Blue.

  • @calebinoutlook that would be Ed Robertson

  • I thought it was expansions started WAIT! isn't it?

  • They should really do an extended version of the theme, that would rock !

  • @Alchymyst02 they did. It's like 1:30. It's even better and the short theme of the song

  • since the dawn of man is really not that long as every glaxy was formed in less time then it takes to sing this song a fraction of a second and the elements were made... so and and so forth XD

  • i saw them in concert

  • I'm not convinced. He could have did it as a comedy bit. Get the song wrong and get scolded for it.

  • i memorized this whole song :P the full version now the short one

  • Fail; the planet started? Expansions started Wait!

  • @StephanieLovesMCR--- haha u'd think the writer would know their own song lol

  • @IMZZIKKLE I don't blame them. It's not a CD song, and I don't even know if they're created for writing it, maybe just singing it. None the less, they have a good 9-10 CD's of music plus their EP's and bonus songs like this one. Kind of hard to remember every single song.

  • LOL

  • lame :D but nice theme

  • @LatriceIsHere Oh yeah, cause nobody can make a mistake sometimes!

  • @ringoffirejc dude, are you really gonna try and start an argument about this? i was just saying coz i noticed, is that a problem?

  • @LatriceIsHere that guy wrote the song, so I think it's ok...

musicians often change stuff without realizing or to make it a little more different and therefore interesting...

  • @chrismcdaniel15 lol, i know, i'm just saying :)

  • jajajajajajajajajajaja a lo que llegamos xD

  • my friend gave me the MP3, its awesome!!

  • hehehehe ^^

  • i always thought said erection instead of a fraction

  • I noticed the mistake he made after watching this the 3rd time LoL fail. He said the "planet started wait..."

    instead of "expansion started wait.."

Anyways love the song and the sitcom <3.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!

    AND THE SHOW TOO

  • lol i can do better than him

  • Cute

  • cool

  • jaja omgg love it :)

    (L)

  • They obviously don't do the song very often so he couldn't remember the lyrics. Get off his back for christs sake.

  • @MissKitKinky - actually if you read the info, this was the first live performance of it, still fuck off with the hate comments

  • sorry i didnt write that comment i left my youtube signed in and my bf wrote that, u can reply a comment on his page AvatarKyosho

  • KIckass and luv them

  • Since it's not an album release song, they obviously don't do it often, someone in the crowd suggested they do the song, and ed couldn't quite remember the lyrics.

  • isn't not planet!

  • Steven Page left =(

  • Agree with PhyOS. To those who disagree: yes, you can amend the lyrics, but what does 'Then nearly fourteen billion years ago the planet started' mean? Clearly a mistake.

  • there are many mistakes in the song, but its still a fun song to listen to. stop bitching and enjoy the music.

  • That was fun!

  • this is awsome song i love the boys

  • I love this song, but in this situation, in live, it's horrible. He's not syncronized, also, he sang "a planet" instead of "expansion".

  • Umm last time i checked, this is there song so they can change it anyway they please :)

  • if you write a song you can do as you please with it, there are alot of musicians that chage their lyrics live

  • Anyway, it's not seen as good to change a song's lyrics, though I'm pretty sure the problem is that he was confused, as the song is for a tv show (then they really can't change it).

  • Do you know anything about the history of this concert? The band wanted to do something spectacular for their fans. They allowed their fans to write favorite songs on a piece of paper and place in a bucket to be drawn during the concert. It was a full fan request show. Hard to learn 100's of songs by heart in a matter of weeks and ALL singers make mistakes when performing LIVE. He's unprofessional b/c he sang lyrics wrong? You must not attend many concerts where the performers sing live.

  • No I don't. I just say it's an error, because some say it is from the original lyrics or that he can change it whenever he wants to. And the song, at least in this video didn't sound properly. I don't really care about the concert itself, just that.

  • Sheldon?

  • knock knock knock

  • Twice....

  • geial genial genial!!!!! adoro esta rola

  • I think he kinda got the tempo off. It seemed that the drums were off

  • everyone: "...They built the pyramids!"

  • OMG esa canción rulea demasiado

  • Top!!! :)

  • are they the best or what?

  • hah yea nice snipe

  • whats a snipe...?

  • like you know a sniper for war?

well "LatricelsHere" like piked off a mistake

    like he sniped it

  • I love this band!

  • Noticed that. That was a snipe.

  • thats well cool....

  • hahaha =P'' i remember now but i dont remember now but i dont remember the 'words ''=P''

  • This band is awesome! The show is also kick ass!!!!

  • They are sooo cool! ^^

  • Ummm...it's called a Double Bass. It's not a cello. Cello is quite a bit smaller and produces higher notes.

  • dudes rite... tis a double bass:P

  • That stand up bass is straight up gangster.

  • yay neandrthal! (couldnt be botherd to look foor correct spelling)

  • yay canadian band

  • i saw this show on cbs its cool

  • he says the lyrics wrong, twice: he says "the planet started" when it should be "expansion started."

  • Wow. Don't pay too close attention at any of their live shows, then; both Ed and Steve constantly shift lyrics around and sing things wrong. Live performances tend to be that way when you're not lip-synching.

  • Gee, I think I can handle the fact that they're only human and make mistakes, but thanks for the "warning" anyway. Saying "the planet started" is clearly a mistake, why do you need to get so defensive? I wasn't putting him down; I thought it was cute. Don't be so thin-skinned. Sheesh.

  • ...does it really matter wut they're lyrics are? they're a great band :)

  • The lyrics is what makes the song good.

  • I am so jealous of your front row status, Moody! :) you rock!

  • what album is this song off?

  • It's not from an album. It's the theme song to the TV show Big Bang Theory on CBS Monday nights

  • xD I love this show!

  • @MoodyCat channel 4 thursdays nights

  • @MoodyCat it actually is a song its called the history of everythnig

  • @MoodyCat I think the song is called "History of everything" and is much longer than what is shown in the TV show.

  • @gingertom97 shane on you

  • hahah that's so cool

  • Haha i love this song! :P *It all started with a Big Bang!*

  • That was awesome - I bought the memory stick, but wasn't alumni so I wasn't at the actual show - great to catch a glimpse though - thanks! I'll be alumni on S&D V though... hope there's a special show again!

  • is there any way you can send me the whole version of them playing the theme to the big bang theory? I love that show.

  • The whole version recording can be bought thru itunes. It is not from this show, but an actual studio recording. They didn't sing the whole thing at the alumni show because Ed barely remembered the short version or that there was a longer version like he mentions in the video clip. The recording from the alumni show is just the audio of this video basically (better quality though). I hope this helps, otherwise, let me know... :D

  • I love this band!

  • I LOVED how ed forgot they recorded a longer version and released it :D So awesome to see it live, whatever version it was :D
