@micksquizzy And I suppose you've NEVER broken a law in your entire miserable life? Riiiight! You rail dweebs are possibly the biggest bunch of sanctimonious hypocrites on youtube.
What was he doing back there, taking a piss? Hahhaha. I have ridden on railroad tracks before, but it was to cut through to another roadway, and to break in a suspension on a racing bike. hahaha.
What an Idiot! I Saw a Couple young teens Walking well two BNSF SD70MAC's were doing 60mph with a Empty, coal just a couple days ago, i wish i had my camera,
About the worst I ever did was shoulder it across the tracks(while clear) to get over to the other end of town.
In a small town or an area with a lot of grade-crossings, under-crossings, and over-crossings this is just lazy and dangerous.
Where I live though, there are only a total of three bridges that cross over the UPRR/BNSF shared right-of-way and almost 300,000 people living in the area.
call railroad police! pretty easy! my friend railfans Union Pacific and Napa Valley a lot and hes got both railroad police numbers in his phone. A $500 dollar fine will set him strait. And plus, haha, riding on the ties will hurt his bike.
gotta love that railroad pride. who gives a shit? if 8 year olds can handle flattening coins I think this guy can manage whatever the fuck hes doing -the comments on these "railroad trespasser" videos are hilarious. I guess it give people a chance to share with everyone else how much they know about railroad regulations. yay
I've often thought: What if I was walking on the tracks and something happened, like I trip and fall and hit my head or for whatever reason go unconscious and l'm sprawled across the tracks when a train comes? Now think how much greater the potential of an accident is if you're riding a bike! Yes, this is very foolish.
why would you post this? sooo fucking what if the dumb ass is riding a bike on the tracks? WHO CARES im sure there is more important shit you can come up with
"The cameraman(boy) is trespassing also. " How do you know? If a zoom lens was used to shoot this (and it probably was), the cameraman might have been well off the track.
Where in the hell are the railroad police when this is going on?
Oh that's right they are questing some suspicious railfans with those deadly digital cameras that could cause tank cars to explode and trains to derail...
Do you mean Treyvs? He's not tresspassing. He's not even on the gravel of the tracks. Besides, judging by the sound and focus, it looks like he's got the zoom on.
This reminds me of a scary incident 13 years ago when I was on the bus, and I was looking out at a train track (on raised rail in a ravine) running parallel to the road I was on. Just as a Septa commuter train was barreling down the tracks, a whole bunch of teenagers were running and jumping off the sides of the track with the train only a few feet away from them!
We almost hit a guy on a 4-wheeler, he's riding in between the rails, as my engineer puts the train in EMERGENCY the guy gets the 4 wheeler off the tracks, what a DA, I thought we were going to have a hood ornament, that would have been neat tto take to Chicago!
@jmehl77 Back in 1979 I rode on the Michigan Northern Railroad from Cadillac to Petosky Mich in an ex C&NW Alco RS3 when we rounded a curve and there was a snowmobiler . We were in idle and were coasting. With his engine & helmet he didn't hear us. He only noticed when our head light lit up the area in front. He panicked several times trying to get off. He stopped & our engineer "Big Holed" and stopped. The brakey got a "near miss" report to get his number, but he took of B4 we could get it.
@jmehl77 ( Continuing) Engineers can report accidents & trespassing If they can get a number. If you want excitement as a railfan, try foaming La Grange Crossing where the ATSF(BNSF) & the Indiana Harbor Belt cross B4 the BNSF reports you and the yard Dic takes your Drivers License number, license plate number. The BNSF has a policy of reporting any trespassers. We were in a clearing in the "Y" safe, but were asked to leave.
@jmehl77 The gum shoe explained that the Santa Fe was not "harassing" railfans , but considered us a liability IF we got hurt. He told us if we had a Release we could be there. He gave me the address of "Corwith Yard" (Chicago). I wrote & recieved permission. Saw about 20 trains from 5 different lines in 4 hours. Now they have it completely blocked off. Nobody can go there.
@strobx1 were you on railroad property i dont think they can stop you in right of way so many feet from railroad property thats all i was ever told is stay off the tracks and so many feet away
You know, when tresspassers learn, they usually end up killed. The tourist railroad I work for, I have seen four wheelers and snowmobiles ride down the tracks, since we don't have a flanger, the snowmobiles put one ski on each side and ride, the only way they can get off the track is at a crossing, of course, it is a 2' gauge railroad, but still.
Yes, the WW&F. We talked about how to take care of the problems, but it was decided that all trains, every day should be prepared to stop for a atv, or snowmobile. If there are tracks in the snow, than the train crews run at restricted speeds, which takes forever, especially when going around turns.
let him get killed...who cares lol
