@MiniMongooseStudios haha faire enough, i think the one i remember was the first series, where the voice actor for rupert was a boy so I wasn't used to this, I was wrong to say the voice acting wasn't as good
They always take away the good cartoons worth watching pissed me the fuck off as a kid and it still does but not as much.Rupert was so cool to me though before 11
There are surprisingly a lot of deep, philosophical ideas in all of the rupert shows; and even now, years after watching it on TV, it still makes me think deeply about things in life. Every morning before I went to school I would watch it, and my mind was shocked into a state of deep, endless imagination for the whole day. While I was being taught something trivial in class, I would be more concerned about wondering if such places as Timeland or Mirrorland actually existed. Thank you Rupert.
Dose Pong Ping not go to school? What about Tiger Lily.... Do they live outside the town's school limits, or is this before an intregrated school system?
> This episode is kind of like Chalkzone, except it doesn't suck. The best part about it is the lack of shitty music videos that the creators of Chalkzone seem to be so fond of.
Oh. My. God. I thought I would never see this show again. I figured it had fallen off the face of the earth or something. Man they don't make them like they used to
@puff916 : Rupert was actually "invented" in the 1920's by British comic-strip illustrator Mary Tourtel. There have been quite a few different TV series of the Rupert Bear stories all made in the UK but in collaberation with various production companies. Canadian YTV bought the episodes so kids everywhere could enjoy it! Rupert started out as a comic strip and my uncle used to give me a Rupert Bear Annual each year which was this magical book full of that years' comic strips! Nice memories!

I remember being a little kid and even at a young age thinking that some of the characters in Rupert may have been gay. Including rupert. Not in a bad way, mind you. It just struck me as odd.
though they may have just been extremely brittish.
People lived by a different set of morals back in the 1920's from which this show is set in. Sure, it was obviously not a perfect world but one thing's for sure, nobody was so uptight and fearful as we have become in this day of age no thanks to present day media.
gay????...yes as a child I thought they were very happy characters, little bear and the characters of that show was also gay they all seemed happy together..
Rupert reminds me of Harry Potter

No offence, but Rupert was as British (or English) as they come in the annuals. This is a sort of travesty of the original......

@PJBearstein But in April Fool, his shirt color was orange. Maybe there was a color mistake.
