There are surprisingly a lot of deep, philosophical ideas in all of the rupert shows; and even now, years after watching it on TV, it still makes me think deeply about things in life. Every morning before I went to school I would watch it, and my mind was shocked into a state of deep, endless imagination for the whole day. While I was being taught something trivial in class, I would be more concerned about wondering if such places as Timeland or Mirrorland actually existed. Thank you Rupert.

@puff916 : Rupert was actually "invented" in the 1920's by British comic-strip illustrator Mary Tourtel. There have been quite a few different TV series of the Rupert Bear stories all made in the UK but in collaberation with various production companies. Canadian YTV bought the episodes so kids everywhere could enjoy it! Rupert started out as a comic strip and my uncle used to give me a Rupert Bear Annual each year which was this magical book full of that years' comic strips! Nice memories!

People lived by a different set of morals back in the 1920's from which this show is set in. Sure, it was obviously not a perfect world but one thing's for sure, nobody was so uptight and fearful as we have become in this day of age no thanks to present day media.
