  • John McCain's "pro-life" views are actually very inconsistent. He supports abortion in cases of rape, and supports embryonic stem cell research. He also voted to support Title X taxpayer funding of birth control and abortion, meaning that pro-lifers have NO CHOICE but to pay for other people's abortions.

Don't take a candidate saying "I'm pro-life" at face value. It is actually quite sad how many pro-lifers voted for him BECAUSE "he's pro-life."

I'm glad you brought up McCain-Feingold.

  • the people voted for those tax increases and hes against greed and supports the fairtax and he good on social issues. maybe you should watch huckabee on glen beck. you may think glenn is a bit of a war monger. when did mccain vote to raise taxes? i dig ron paul but he whould let ahmadinejad walk all over him. what about bob barr?

  • is Ron Paul your dad?

  • You sound like you're reading from a note-card in your videos.

    Nonetheless,

It's good to see a girl with an interst in politics.

Keep up the good work tootse.

  • Don't get mad, little twin.

    ;)

  • Fucking imperialist!

  • She's got a point.... All Obama says is "Change!" and nobody really knows what he's talking about....

    Kudos to you, Rebekah!

  • BTW: Your slight lisp is so hot. XD

Sorry for going all juvenile on you.

  • Very good video, thank you!

  • I can't even figure out what you're trying to say...

  • That's a lot of assumptions your simple mind has led you to. This girl thinks a lot more about her country than most people do her age. Give some credit mate ;)

  • yea im 13 i get into politics !BUT NOT THAT MUCH! all im gana say is i dont like hillary and i do SUPPORT ron paul (but hes lost now)

  • ron paul is straigth out of the gutter who some people like this drop out happen to hop on board lol.

  • totally agree sterner typical fanatics she's for small gov like she says on this video 2:07 but she is against ABORTION, probably against drugs as well probably against prostitution as well conservatives make me laugh because these fools want to legislate morality.

  • your for small gov-- but your a pro-life lunatic your very funny

  • sterner101, you're an idiot. I'm for small government, and I don't want the government allowing innocent children to be murdered. I don't see the conflict.

  • There is nothing wrong with being pro-life.

There are plenty of Christian-Democrats, my whole family included.

  • OBAMA 08

  • Hello from Sioux City, Iowa.

My gosh, Rebekah! That's got to be the very best video I have ever seen on here! ...Definitely not your garden-variety YouTube motion picture!

Many of my fellow born-again believers around here have a weird misplaced loyalty (I think most of them Huck fans, by the way). A Christian guy owns a fast-food restaurant. Almost every Christian in town seems to eat there. That seems a little wasteful since the owner's a crook (?) (Prices are pretty high.)

    Take care.

  • Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it.

    I agree with you there...

  • hey wimp why would you support a lunatic

  • juddolian: Wimp? I think the wimp is the one who attacks a 17 year old girl over youtube. Grow a brain.

  • why would you support a bozo like paul who is against abortion--thats that way my dad makes his living you need to get a life

  • nightsterly: I'm sorry that your dad gets his living by killing innocent children. That's rather sad.

And YOU, sir, should learn basic English AND get a life. If you hate her videos, you should watch something else.

  • You're dad is a loser.

Tell him to do something else besides kill babies.

  • schomoan mother fucker! im going to write ron paul in because i cant choose between the turds

  • Google Chuck Baldwin :) That's who I plan to support pending a convention miracle ;)

  • i may be only 16 but has some one told you that you are a freaking moron who is fucking boring and your a freaking bush republican im praying for you

  • blopper22: product of the public education system? Maybe you should go watch something else if Rebekah's videos are so repulsive to you. Maybe if you were smart enough to understand them you would like them better :)

  • ron paul is a joke you need to get a brain sweety well your still young.

  • bordeaux91: Ha! When you learn the difference between your and you're, you can criticize Rebekah's intelligence. Geesh. Go play in traffic or something.

  • why would you support a loser and an old fart head like ronny paul you are invited to come to my show to get your jerry BEATS.

  • Springer890: "Old fart head like ronny paul."

You, sir, are an idiot. If you hate Rebekah's videos so much, why do you watch them all and spam them all?

  • As with the CFR, not all the members of The Trilateral Commission are fully committed to the destruction of the United States. Some just go along for the ride, to obtain fame, comfortable living, and constant flattery. But some, of course, really do run things and work against the independence of the united States. These quotes were directed at NsaneNtheNbrane.

  • Very interesting quotes. The Katherine Graham one struck me the most. I already knew, however, that there were people in the CFR who shared that mentality of secrecy. Unfortunately, that mentality is everywhere, though. The radical opinions of some of the CFR's members do make me sick, but those opinions don't represent most of the prominent members. I don't think it's plus for any presidential candidate to be a CFR member, but the CFR hasn't done anything incriminating.

  • I'm really glad you brought the Brzezinski quote to my attention. Did you know he is now Obama's foreign policy advisor! Maybe he should've picked Harriet Miers!

  • Unfortunately, the media and politicians can screw us just fine without organizations like the CFR. I'll be the first to admit that politicians and the media are working together to push their own agendas, against the public's best interests, but I don't blame that on the CFR. My only problem with organizations like that is that they represent anti-capitalism in the sense that they encourage alliances between media personnel and politicians, which create a trust. This trust discourages...

  • ...diversity of thought and information flow, and as a result reduces the quality of media and politics. Organizations like the CFR only represent this trust, though, and don't actually cause it.

  • Read "The Naked Capitalist" by W. Cleon Skousen.

  • "The Trilateral Commission is intended to be the vehicle for multinational consolidation of the commercial and banking interests by seizing control of the political government of the United States. The Trilateral Commission represents a skillful, coordinated effort to seize control and consolidate the four centers of...

  • ...power political, monetary, intellectual and ecclesiastical. What the Trilateral Commission intends is to create a worldwide economic power superior to the political governments of the nation states involved. As managers and creators of the system they will rule the future." - Senator Barry Goldwater

  • "...This regionalization is in keeping with the Tri-Lateral Plan which calls for a gradual convergence of East and West, ultimately leading toward the goal of "one world government'....National sovereignty is no longer a viable concept..." Zbigniew Brzezinski, co-founder of Trilateral Commission and National Security Advisor to President Jimmy Carter.

  • "The Trilateral Commission is international, and it is intended to be the vehicle for multinational consolidation of the commercial and banking interests by seizing control of the political government of the United States. The Trilateral Commission represents a skillful, coordinated effort to seize control and consolidate the four centers of power -- political, monetary, intellectual, and ecclesiastical." - Senator Barry Goldwater

  • "The Council on Foreign Relations is "the establishment." Not only does it have influence and power in key decision making positions at the highest levels of government to apply pressure from above, but it also announces and uses individuals and groups to bring pressure from below, to justify the high level decisions for converting the U.S. from a sovereign Constitutional Republic into a servile member state of a one world dictatorship." - Congressman John Rarick 1971

  • "The ultimate aim of the CFR is to create a one-world socialist system, and to make the U.S. an official part of it." - Dan Smoot, former member of the FBI Headquarters staff in Washington, D.C

  • "The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is the American Branch of a society which originated in England ... (and) ... believes national boundaries should be obliterated and one-world rule established." - Carroll Quigley

  • "There does exist, and has existed for a generation, an institutional Anglophile network which operates, to some extent, in the way the radical Right believes the Communists act. In fact, this network, which we may identify as the Round Table Groups, has no aversion to cooperating with the Communists, or any other groups, and frequently does so. I know of the operations of this network because I have studied it for twenty years and was

  • permitted for two years in the early 1960s to examine its papers and secret records. I have no aversion to it or to most of its aims and have, for much of my life, been close to it and too many of its instruments. I have objected, both in the past and recently, to a few of its policies ... but in general my chief difference of opinion is that it wishes to remain unknown, and I believe its role in history is significant enough to be known."

    - Carroll Quigley (historian and professor)

  • Ah...Someone who pays attention.

  • Alright, for example, at 2:57 and 3:14 you say that, "Mike Huckabee takes us for idiots... He thinks that because he's smooth that he can get away with things like joking about suicide or raising taxes as Governor of Arkansas."

On a side note, and just to continue this conversation, at 4:56 and 5:10 you mentioned John McCain "raising taxes." I'd love to see an instance where John McCain actually raised taxes. If I am correct, I don't believe McCain ever served in an executive office.

  • Point well taken. You're right, it does sound like I'm making character inferences. However, that wasn't my intent. I should have said he "seems to think."

All right I'll look up where he has raised taxes so I don't come out ignorant :)

However, he has long been known as one of the most Liberal members of the Republican party and the Senate.

  • The executive office has nothing to do with taxes. That is an obligation of congress. Only the president can veto tax legislation. I cant believe they try to convince people that they are going to raise or lower anything if they are not in congress. McCain does not understand economics. And he has admitted to it. This is more polishing politics. I dont think he voted to raise but voted against reducing taxes. but later has flipflopped his arguments under convienance of "straight talk" publicity.

  • Actually, the executive office has everything to do with taxes. Without the executive's approval, a bill cannot be passed or vetoed. Yes, a two-thirds vote from the entire Congress can overrule a veto, but individually, a congressman/woman cannot do anything.

What I meant to say was that McCain, as the representative, cannot create and impose a tax on the public. It's as simple as that.

  • Any representative can create legislation to tax or anything that is why we call them lawmakers, that is one of there jobs. It has to be seconded. Then there is debate and all the fine tunings and issues. If it is passed it goes to the other side. President gets final approval. If representatives dont impose taxes then who does?

  • Finally, a smart Ron Paul supporter!

  • There's many more.

  • I'm not implying there isn't, I was just saying that a lot of time on youtube we kind of see a fanatic side or Ron Paul supporters, like RON PAUL WILL SAVE AMERICA FROM HELL, and it makes me not want to take him seriously. You are a rational young woman who clearly explains why your choice is the best, and does it very well, I might add. Ever been on a debate team?

  • Yeah, I do know what you mean. I've experienced that myself, too, even in person like with people wanting to yell at me about 9-11 Truth and the NWO when I'm trying to be diplomatic, lol it's very frustrating. Just keep in mind that radicals will naturally get more attention, and they don't represent the majority of Ron Paul supporters :)

Thank you. ^^ I've done some of that before, but no, I haven't been on a team.

  • I must say, you raised some very interesting points, and many of them rang with truth. Nicely done.

However, you had quite a few blatant attacks against the candidates' characters, and not their policies. Work on that and you'll be a surefire political consultant.

Finally, as a fellow Republican, I totally disagree with you when you say that Ron Paul is the candidate for Republicans. Both his policies and stances on the issues indicate that he is more Libertarian than Republican.

  • Thank you :)

    Please tell me where... ?

I disagree. Libertarians are far more "live and let live" than Ron Paul. His stance is what the Republican party used to and claims to stand for.

  • If you look at the roots of Libertarian. You'll find it as the basis of the True conservative Republican. I've found that researching his stances. The titles fool you and there is real idealism and solutions to problems that transgress other problems. But the media has pretty much propagated a bias propaganda against him. The difference between Ron Paul and the other candidates is that he always tells the truth of matters. He doesnt spin it. 30 years record of No lobbyist influence.

  • Also on points of blatant candidate characters attacks and policies. They can say any policy that they are for. If they are criminal in characteristics means that they lie, are untrustful, do patterned bad things. Not even trustworthy of forefilling a policy. So trust is a big thing. Flipfloping on issues are why americans dont like any of the leading candidates it means they dont have integrity. Do we want another dirty lawyer running the government or a doctor who knows how to heal it?

  • any candidate that supports universal health care should be watched carefully. programs like universal health care are communist and will lead us into bondage.

also say what u want about mike huckabee but he wants to do away with the irs. he had my vote.

  • "programs like universal health care are communist and will lead us into bondage."

Lol. Last I checked England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland Canada and France were not communist countries.

  • its funny you lecture me on politics yet you dont understand simple geography. england, scotland, wales and north ireland are all one country the united kingdom.

secondly you dont have to be a communist state to have communist programs going on in your government. think about what communism is "everyone works for the government, the government gives you what you need to live"

so if you work and get taxed (money that goes to the government) the goverment in turn "gives" us "free" healthcare.

  • its funny that you lecture me on the UK when they all have devolved parliaments, which all currently regulate the NHS. That is why you get free medication in Wales but nowhere else in the UK. And of course you are going to get taxed. But wouldn't you rather pay a little bit each year knowing that if you go broke and fall ill, you are still entitlted to get treatment.

  • Yeah but the guys point is still valid your in bondage to the system. And free health care doesnt mean it is going to be good health care. Whats the point if they get paid anyways, there is no incentive to provide excellent service. Thats the problem in the states. No competition. And the government subsidies it. Drug corporations monopolize it. Lawyers monopolize it. Insurance monopolizes it.

  • Ron Paul wants to get rid of the IRS, Income Taxes and The Federal Reserve. So why vote for Huckebee on one issue when you can get the whole tamalee.

  • PS. Awesome vid, you should be a politician

  • Thank you :]

  • I really liked this video miss :)

  • PHIL!!!

  • McCain is very liberal.

    RON PAUL 2008!

    RON PAUL FOREVER!

  • Thanks ^^

Haha, sXephil commented my video, I'm totally freaking out XD

  • a right for all and not something for those with the means. As a conservative, do you not believe that people have a 'right to life'? Does that not include the right to survive illness?

I also believe that the government has no right to interfere with what you do with your own body, or with another consenting adult. Gay marriage doesn't affect me. Drug use is not my concern. Why let government legislate morality on you? That's just as bad as raising taxes-both restrict your freedom needlessly

  • Yes, I do believe everyone has a right to life... and that should include the unborn.

I'm against embryonic stem-cell research because I don't believe we have the ethical right to disrespect life just to further our own.

Gay marriage really doesn't affect me either. I'm personally against it, but don't think it should be a political issue.

I'm for legalization of some drugs.

I'm a Republican in a classic sense, and somewhere betweet a Constitutionalist and a Libertarian.

  • I also like to add theres a difference in embryonic stem-cell and just stem-cell research.

  • A well thought out stance on your presidential selection. I also support Ron Paul, but I do disagree with him on a few issues, and I agree with him on certain issues that you may not (you declared yourself a 'conservative' and not a libertarian or constitutionalist).

Healthcare: Government exists to provide a populace with goods and services that the private sector cannot. Our legal system is a good example. But with 1 out of 6 people uninsured, perhaps it is the case that healthcare is...

  • What is wrong with the CFR??? You are so brainwashed. This video reminds me of the trailer for the movie "Jesus Camp."

  • wtf? Do you even know what the Council on Foreign Relations is? How every political candidate except for Ron Paul is inolved? How they're actively pushing for a North American Union that will destroy our soveriegnty?

You obviuosly didn't watch my video or you didn't watch Jesus Camp... if it was "Jesus Camp," I'd be praying for George W. Bush's approval ratings or whatever...

  • Yes, I know what the CFR is. They're not pushing for the NAU. Did you know Tom Brokaw is one of the directors for the CFR? That's right, Tom Brokaw is comin' to get us, I'm so scared! I guess you got me, CFR bad, Ron Paul good.

No, I didn't watch "Jesus Camp," nor do I care to.

  • Okay who is the CFR? Those that dont care dont think. You obviously show your inept attempt to ridicule without debating or even understanding issues. If you cant make an argument STFU..

  • The CFR is the Council on Foreign Relations, which is a group of highly influential people, mostly politicians and media personnel, who get together to discuss foreign policy issues. Just because the real definition of the CFR doesn't suit your conspiracy theories doesn't mean it's any less valid. I don't need to make an argument, because neither you nor anyone else has produced any evidence to support your claims.

  • "We live in a dirty and dangerous world. There are some things the general public does not need to know and shouldn't. I believe democracy flourishes when the government can take steps to keep its secrets, and when the press can decide whether to print what it knows." - Katherine Graham, former Washington Post publisher and CFR member

  • Rebekahj - Lovely rant, as per usual. It inspired me to think of a new slogan for you!:

"Rebekahj - Where elegance meets eloquence!"

Oh, FYI - The "Stupid in America" link on your profile has been taken down.

  • Thank you :)

Ah, really? Thanks for letting me know, I'll take it down.

  • I Really Dislike McCain the most!! If He becomes President We are all Doomed!!! You have great views and your reaching out to the people that haven't heard of him or don't follow politics... and I appreciate it! GO RON PAUL!!

  • Well, they all have their downfalls, but I agree, McCain is horrible.

    Thank you =)

  • Wow that was an intelligent point

  • Wow peope can't take a joke

    Christ

  • Not if the joke happens to be an insult that's not funny ;)

Reminds me of a little kid that says anything and then says "just kidding!"

  • Hey, I'm not saying I didn't deserve a response. I'm saying that I didn't deserve -6 for an unfunny joke. XD

  • fact is even if a person doesn't have a chance. no vote is ever a waste. a person that thinks any vote is a waste apparently doesn't understand anything about america.

  • Lol, "not a political event" when a politition was there as a guest speaker

  • Haha, I know. He was actually the keynote speaker. It was rather nauseating.

  • "thcary thounding acronym" LOL!...am I a bad person for pointing that out...I'm sorry *sadface*

  • short answer... yes

  • Nice explainations. I dont follow politics but i understand much more now

  • Nice job! <3

  • Thank you :]

  • Definitely a good message. Waste your vote, Vote Ron Paul!

  • Waste your vote? Hm. I vote for who I WANT to win, thank you. To quote another youtuber, it's not a football game! Geez. Why are YOU wasting your vote on someone who doesn't care about the Constitution?

  • health care a right? where did you pull that one from, karl marx? needs and rights are not all the same. aside from the principle, medicine doesn't work for most health problems anyway, no matter who pays for it or how for the simple reason it doesn't correct the cause of most health problems, but then that's not it's overall purpose, either. the powers that contol the system are interested in three things primarily, power, profit, and population control. what achieves these goals? sick people.

  • Good video. Ron Paul revolution!!

  • first, the government does not own us, and has no right to dictate our health care. their purpose in presuming such authority is to increase their profit and control- sorry to break the news thumbsucking commies, but they don't give a rat's posterior about people's health. second, for most health problems, medicine simply doesn't work because for most health problems it does nothing to correct their cause, so no matter who pays for it or how, they're wasting most of their money.

  • You should totally put a Sonic Youth song in the background of this video.

  • Sonic Youth?

  • Cool, I have that same exact sign. 100 of them in fact :)

Luckily they are all on the road now

  • Oh, that one used to be on the road (along with the 4 or 5 in my trunk) but it was picked up by us so the Sign Nazis didn't get to them first =P

  • Please explain to me how would universal care be detrimental and as you say it so well a "fiasco"? It has nothing to do with big or small government, it's to provide a basic human right, universal health care. Why should rich people be the only ones to be cared for? Universal health care works in Canada and Europe as a charm. Only in the idiotic mind of Americans can such a beautiful idea be seen as evil and "communist". Wait till you get a fucking disease and you lost your job. Good riddance ho

  • I get what you are saying, I understand that humans should be treated as such, and every1 should be looked over and cared for. Request this of your state, its much easier to influence small government than a federal government who has sufficiently shown, they dont care that much..

  • The Bill of Rights only preserves life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Not medical care, it says The US wont kill you, it will preserve liberty, and a pursuit of happiness, it only gaurentees liberty to those alive, and happiness is only a pursuit. not gaurenteed.

  • thebitcher01: Quote"Universal health care works in Canada and Europe as a charm." Then explain why canadians come to america to get care. Maybe its because it takes six months to be seen. In that time you could get a disease and loose your job.. stupid arse. .lol

  • you're pretty sharp. i have read the fix is in for hellary. though i certainly hope this doesn't happen, and as Christians we hate to see evil advanced, we know who is really in charge, and all things work for the good of His people. i read the trilateral commission anticipates world government by 2020. they already are setting dates to unify free trade zones before they have even come together. the end of things is at hand, but do not fear. no matter what happens, our destiny is sealed.

  • That was a good speech a good job of referencing the issues and what the candidates are going for. I completely agree with you Ron Paul is the best candidate in this primary though it looks as if he isn't going to get the republican nod but I will vote for him if he goes as an independent candidate. the others in the republican primary are way too liberal and the democrats are too liberal. I am for small government and low taxes

  • You can still put him on the ballot as a write-in even if he doesnt get the nomination.

    Im doing it.

  • My Take on Hillarys HMO Health Care. Remember this is her baby, her mess. This Health care plan created a buearacracy by telling people what doctor they can see. What alternative medicine they can use. Prices of health care went up. Ex. a friend had a gastric bypass. with ins. 25,000 with cash 8,000. Fed government subsidizes cost to hospitals so they charge the most for it. And the level of care drops.

  • Exactly. The more government control increases, the more quality decreases. It'll be a complete mess if she gets her way.

  • Most impressive and insightfull video. 5stars

  • Thank you :]

  • Thanks! ^_^

  • Down to earth? Mommy and daddy government is bullshit. I don't want to have to ask a government official to take a piss. I want freedom, not total dependency on a government. I want border security, I want out of Iraq, I don't want hippies trying to take my firearms.

  • Hey! I consider myself a Hippie! People just buy into the hunting arguement without understanding why the 2nd amendment is there in the 1st place... To protect against Tyranny and a government gone awry.

4 out of 5 Dictators agree, Gun Control is a good thing.

  • what do you need a gun for, psycho, rednech daddy beating you again?

    here's the bottom line:

    Obama 42%, Paul 6%

    America seems to have spoken.

  • What a typical liberal hippie gun grabbing response. I have a gun because it is my privilege and right to own one, I don't need anymore reasons. I'm not going to sit here and listen to a person that is fueled with Micheal Moore's hate and lies.

  • and rights are 2 different things by definition. Rights are supposed to be inalienable, while privileges are supposed to be able to be stripped. And if you didnt notice, I didnt give a reason why people own guns, I gave the reason why the amendment was placed into the Constitution.

I dont know where Michael Moore came from, as far as I knew, he was ok with gun restrictions, clearly violating the 2nd admendment, and since we are talking about guns, I have to assume thats why youd bring him up.

  • I brought Micheal Moore up because in another video ole ifriedman08 declared his love for micheal moore and his bullshit film sicko.

  • maybe you could point out where in the constitution it says its the federal government's job is to set national schooling standards?

I was on the Obama train, but Paul offers True Change, not just a change from Bush... If you must, please vote Obama

  • ifriedman08: Government standards.. what a laugh. Have you heard the term "good enough for government" There is a standard its called a GED. Ron Paul is the best hope because he actually has the background to do it.

  • Oh, I wouldn't brag about winning elections, ifriedman08. I think we all know Fox News has huge ratings and George Bush got easily elected to 2 terms and hell, what percentage of Americans can't even locate their own country on a map? Popularily doesn't necessarily mean it's the smartest choice.

  • rebekahj: can you say "rigged elections"?

  • Damn you have been spoon fed liberal bullshit all of your life until it has brainwashed you. Open your eyes, look at what liberals would like to do to this country. They would have it where everything involved the government. Why would you want that?

  • ifriedman08: Limited Government is about having a choice. quote "but it is my firm belief that what the US needs now is a liberal" This is pretty funny. Obama and Hillary say they are progressive conservatives. McInsane says he's a conservative. Everyone of them liberals. Paul is being called liberal. yet the most conservative.

  • if you ever took the time to leave your houth in the thouth, you'd thee that univerthal health care is absolutely more than pothible (canada, most european countrieth, etc.)

  • My mother has worked in hospitals for well over 20 years. She has talked to Canadian doctors, and health officials. If you feel like dying while waiting in line on your turn to have surgery, universal health care is all for you. I don't feel like dying when my health insurance will take care of me. You are just some smart ass 27 year old who wants the government to wipe your ass for you because they owe it to you right? Well keep waiting on them to take care of you, it isn't happening.

  • Well I have LIVED in european countries and everytime i mention that the us doesnt have universal health care they laugh at us.

every one i know in universal healthcare, a lot of people, is extremely well taken care of. Instead of trusing mommy, take a trip yourself and find out on your own!

  • Lived there eh? Your 27 you didn't need the health care system once I bet. I bet if you had needed it you would be singing a different tune. People that can afford it travel to the U.S. all the time to have surgeries because their countries health care system can't get to them in time. I bet Micheal Moore didn't tell you that.

  • dickhead smartass bitch.

  • Gee. You're funny. Like so hilarious. However, you took the time to make fun of my lisp, kudos. Most people say it's cute ;]

  • You should all be asking why health care costs so much. Our wages have not kept up with prices, because our money is not worth what it was in the past. Make the dollar worth while again, and more people will afford it like they do car insurance. Those who are so unfortunate can find solace in churches or state/community organizations. If a state wishes to provide health care fine, but to impose it on all in our country goes to far.

  • I am an Independent, you know, the guys who look at the candidate not the party, and I have to wonder why you find liberalism so horrible. What's wrong with thinking everyone should be taken care of and that it doesn't matter what you do in your bedroom?

Also, you did have some great points, but you assumed many things...Just look at when you say "He thinks..." You can't know what someone thinks.

  • i know you didnt ask my opinion, im a self professed liberal. "What's wrong with thinking everyone should be taken care?"

I will say nothing bad about the idea, personally it sounds great.

The problem I see is all my life, no politicians have cared about the Constitution, it took until recently to read and understand it, and understand that its the law for the Government itself. With that said, the federal government isn't given permission by the constitution to do 95% of what it is doing.

  • Well I don't think either of us is versed enough in the constitution to say what the government is allowed to do or not allowed to do. Let's leave that up to the Supreme Court.

  • yeah the same court who took away your ability to your own property because of imminent domain?

How come the Supreme Court cant be expedient enough to end a Constitutionally illegal war and illegal wiretapping? The Constitution is rather easy once you read it and understand that its one of the only things that the Feds are supposed worry about.

  • Because the war isn't constitutionally illegal. Read up on the UN Security Council Resolutions that say (for the last oh 20 years) that we could go to war with Iraq. And as far as your understanding of the constituion is concerned, when did you go to law school? When did you become a federal judge?

  • Hmm... a UN Resolution makes a non congressionally approved war CONSTITUTIONALLY legal? Interesting!

You dont understand what national sovereignty is do you, well the UN, a Global Governing body, is quite the opposite! I take it you trust Global Elites?

  • Wow wow wow. Congress is the only one that can declare war. Congress DID declare the war. Got it? I take it you don't know your ass from a hole in the ground.

  • There was NEVER a Declaration of War and there hasnt been since WWII! Did you forget what was signed was a RESOLUTION authorizing use of force against Iraq if they posed an imminent and immediate threat. A resolution isnt the same thing as declaring war.

  • You still haven't answered my questions.

  • Oh, you mean the questions that dont deal with the issues? Questions that are meant to target and demean me because the Constitution is too hard for the average man to understand? If you must know I went to college, and I did study American History, It was my favorite class, But, no, I did not major in it. And id hope the federal judges have better things to do than type on youtube (like brushing up on the Constitution)

  • so, you want to talk more issues or are you going to be satisfied you won, because I dont have a piece of paper saying Im somehow authorized to understand and talk about the Constitution?

  • screw it, I gotta work, bbl, while im gone, google U.S. Constitution, read it over a few times, understand that is supposed to be the only thing the Fed Govt is supposed to follow and adhere to, no if ands or buts..

  • And you have no authority or background to interpret the constitution, no ifs ands or buts.

  • I guess you answered my question too, you cant stand up to the issues, so you use what you can to try to prove your side which wouldve enevitably killed the conversation in the first place. I assume you arent a Judge, nor a politician, nor a Law scholar, so why did you even start talking about anything, since you also would have no authority or background. If I was a law scholar, would that mean my arguement would have more factuality or merit?

  • Yes if you were a law scholar your argumetn would have more factuality, but you will not answer my questions.I not only stand up to issues, I argue facts, while you cannot. You haven't met your burden of proof.

  • Wait, What questions didnt I answer? Everything I argued was fact, the Constitution is fact. Please, go back through what weve said, and re-iterate what you dont believe I answered, I just re-read it all and cant find many questions you asked, and when you did, I answered it.

  • "And as far as your understanding of the constituion is concerned, when did you go to law school? When did you become a federal judge?"

  • lol I did answer that.before you said "you have no authority or background to interpret the constitution" I coulda swore that was the reason you said that! Its fine if you think people shouldnt care about the constitution, because they dont have the authority to interpret it. I think the Constitution is comprised of words, which have set definition and really isnt open to interpretation.

  • By your thinking though, most politicians and presidents would have no justification for talking about the Constitution, as they werent judges nor law school attendees (im aware some were, not most)

  • I think that they can talk about the Constitution, but I don't think that they can interpret it. That's the difference.
