The great thing about Boris is that he´s unable to become sentimental - probably even if he tried. So he can be generous and very romantic without sounding mushy, sentimental, too Hollywood.. or whatever you may call it :-)
The great thing about Piacevole is that he's unable to not gag on my shaft - probably even if he tried. So he can be generous and very romantic without sounding mushy, sentimental, too Hollywood.. or whatever you may call it :-)
@thelisterinegame The great thing about thelisterinegame is that he doesn't have a shaft- probably even if he tried. So he can be generous and very romantic without sounding mushy, having to act manly, too masculine.. or whatever you may call it :-)
@thelisterinegame lol? uncalled for... and shows how sick of a person you are o_O.... oh well, when there is good there always has to be bad scum of the earth like you =/
@Piacevole I think you're right, he seems to be of a Pollini(esque) school to me: very passionate, but very controlled and a lot of people don't like it, to them, it's 'mechanical'. His use of the pedal is fantastically economical, such a rarity within this choice of repertoire.
HE DIDN'T PLAY THE OP.23 NO.5 !

He maintains the tension of the long line very nicely in this piece (op. 23 #4). Too often performances of the Prelude have an amorphous quality.

I do so enjoy Boris, but I must say that I think he takes these preludes much too fast (sigh)...
