i can see that you use the feather instead of the normal point in the center to aim. i wanted to ask, is that better for a mage to use the feather to aim?
@orenjiReichanchoco DEFENITELY if you're a lightning mage, I'm not sure about if you only have projectiles though, but it worked great for ice javelin and lighting spear. The crosshair is just too hard to get the right view and aim with for me.
@rapacki Casting level 2 is a must, but upgrading to 3 is all a matter of taste. I kept it at 2 myself, because I would rather max my C skill than have 1 extra pw regen.
I enjoyed this video. At first I was confused how to battle as a Ice?Lightening mage..this does kind of clear things up for me. Though, I'm confused as to how you're switching spells so fast. I use the mouse to either click or scroll through my spells, and that does slow me down a bit..other then that, I know how to use the Ice AoE to get away...and my aim blows, but I see you're trying to aim it where they're going, not directly at them..
I'm glad the video helped you out. I remember when I started out I was trying to find a good sorcerer example video to show me how I should aim, but came up with nothing. So I made this. About your question, I just use the number keys (1-8) to switch through spells. I've never been able to scroll through them because the game doesn't recognize my mouse scrolling for some reason. And yes, you HAVE to aim ahead to make up for cast time AND the lag time, just keep practicing.
