did you listen to some screamo songs? i think there is a big difference. the screaming is pretty different and even the rare "soft" parts dont sound like emo/screamo stuff. it just sounds like metal with a few hardcore influences. btw screamo bands often have this emo clothing style and atr dont wear emo clothes.
