I have searched high and low but I cannot find the piano sheet music for this piece! Could you point me in the right direction? Or did you arrange it yourself? It sounds great!!
I did have the sheet music of the Valse Grise...and played it often for my mother........but that 's a very long time ago.. If this is Jaubert himself playing his own composition, wonder why he reads his own score ??
Very romantic and worth saving as an example of those now far off days--for there is more to life than increasing its speed as Mohandas Gandhi once remarked whilst taking time out with his old wind up gramaphone and playing some of his Euro Waltzes.Jannarta.
Maybe not 'politicaly correct' from my part, but I can clearly feel the 'conversation' between that widow (according to your info.)in the right hand's part, and her dancer-mate in the left one. Thanks for uploading.
LOVE it. Very soothing.

@papoocanada This is not Jaubert playing - it is me, and I am very bad at memorizing!

Thank you. I think music of this kind has plenty of life left in it.
