  • I wouldn't call it a game, cuz I don't wanna play it. I can imagine a lot of 2d games more interesting then that, and the goal in making a game, is to entertain, not to make it 3-dimensional.

  • You are both wrong. Xna is not a rip off of dx, rather a framework built on dx. Dx has a better API to use, while ogl is faster, and runs on Mac. If you were making a game, it would be stupid to start from scratch.

  • @MrRobertFritz this is not c# you dumb shit this is c++. XNA is a ripoff version of directx directx is what real programmers use to develop advanced games.It takes years to even learn how to program in c++.

  • the transition to the sky was too sharp of a transition, i donno how directx works on the inside but i know directx uses dds textures try adding an alpha to the sky and adding layers of clouds so you can sorta see through but not like straight through, i think that was a big thing for, also the sky was a half sphere correct? try making it a little bigger, and the water looked a little tiled, i donno if it was cause of the texture you used but ya, and some small detail stuff but besides that gewd

  • true, there is alot of improvements to be made, but overall, as a solo project (I assume) this is really good :)

  • uh, for sum reason i feel a lil nauseous watching this, especially over the water, but other than that, with some fine tuning this could be a great game... u should give DARK GDK a try

  • Well, I gave a 5/5 to cancel out the 1/5. I guess if there wasn't a 1, I woulda gave it a 3 or 4.
