As, finebreeder, says "These horses are amazing!"  They are also not wild. Fifty years ago The average wild horse was a super wary runt, that was as wild as any animal on earth. The males were all killed and well bred sires were introduced to make the animals more attractive and valuable. By the way, there is no free range, do you want put up the money to allow these beautiful animals to live unmolested and fenced away from other livestock to eat up all the fodder it would take to feed them?

@xoxololhorsesrock101 They had to get horses in captivity from somewhere. They didn't just pop in in paddocks one day. The captive horses we all adore have family members that were once wild, way back ago.

I agree with everything you have said with horse slaughter and such though, I'm just saying, tame horses were from wild horses.

@xoxololhorsesrock101 I totally agree, my Grandparents own a horse ranch, and they always rescue Wild Horses. They go to the round up, and buy all the horses that no one bids on, and they try to out-bid the people who work for the slaughter factories. Most of the time, their sucessful, but once in a while, their out bidded. Then, right after they buy the horses, they go out into the wild and set them all free. If theres an injured one, they keep it and nurse it back to health.
