Thanks!! I feel the same about box braids (after this past set of braids) - so I probably will not be doing them any time soon, unless I have 2 or 3 people helping me - I think I learned my lesson (lol).

I did this one 2 week old box braids, so the base of my braids were loose enough to pass the bun holder through, so it holds well. It will come loose though if you were exercising or doing vigourous activities. HTH :-)

Hope it works out for you & be sure to try it on old box braids, since the base will be looser making it easy to pass your hair stick through.

Thanks! Yes I do straighten every now & then (every 3-4 months or so) & for now I use the Maxi Glide Straightener. HTH
