Reading through some of the comments here I thought they're rather harsh. I thought the performance was very good. It's really hard to learn to do an accent and I didn't think that they were that bad. As for the acting, I work with seven year olds and they're really not that much different to this. And on the matter of the set, I'm guessing that the woody cottage is meant to be Eddie's house, therefore the two have to look different to show the difference in wealth by visual means. Well done!
Love how because its a British piece you've assumed that you must have a traditional English looking oak-beam cottage when the show if (for the most part) set in the middle of a city, up north! :L And none of the your accents sound northen, only like majorly OTT English sterotypes. This production could have been so much better with just alittle more research and background knowlege from the creative team.
Woeful...Ive seen many versions of Blood Brothers, and this was deffinatly one of the worst... it was really badly staged and preformed and honestly its very primary school...
@sydneysinger1210 Just expressing my opinion mate. I just didn't like it. I watched this video in English a few months back and my teacher didn't even let us finish it cause everyone was complaining about it. I respect your opinion and for the fact you do to this drama camp thing, but I just don't think it was done well compared to other Secondary School level productions Ive seen of it. :/

i dont really like this acting of blood brothers, theyre supposed to be scouse not speak like 2 year olds who have just starts babeling some words:L I love the play though:)
@amysweetie in all do respect we had 2 and only 2 hours per day of rehearsal for just under 3 weeks. one of our leads had been dealing with a very serious personal problem, and then had no choice but to pull out of the engagemtn the day before our dress rehearsal, and we all had to adjust our parts from the rehearsals. May I also add we have 2, 12 year olds, and none the less actors ages 15-17 here.
Omg linda I can do better than that.
