  • Gotta love the internet... In the early 80's while living in Utah, I looked high and low for a record from "Cross Section" after seeing them in Quadro and really liking their sound. Of course, there was nothing to be found anywhere. 25 years later, here's an homage to them. Very cool.

  • Back in the day, I think 1978, when I was a very young saturday girl in a Rochester hairdressers, I had a customer who told me her son (from Gravesend I think) was in a band called Cross Section and was that day recording something for a film with The Who... little did I realise at the time

    They were not a MOD band and only changed there image for the film part . I will ask if there was anything eles was recorded at this time and not used

    We were not from Australia, but from Kent in England. We never recorded a Cd.

    Tapes of 'Dimples' and Boom Boom' from the Quadrophenia sessions exist but are crappy quality.
