knew it was a slant 40 right off.....loved those cars, but not very practical with that fiberglass nose. hey, if you're a nyc subway freak, maybe you know the real history of 4444? saw the car once, turned out to be one of the best days of my life; some records say wrecked and scrapped, some say cannibalized for parts, some say repaired and run again (possibly renumbered) until final retirement.

As a kid this was the only train I could look through the fron of the train, Since the window was so long.

Wish Winnipeg's downtown looked like this, with the subway running in a open cut slightly underground, and those red brick apartments on each side.
