Love this update.. The J. Grindhouse release is one of my favourite dvds... A great release. I actually enjoyed both the shorter back to back versions than the origional single releases... Love the Br and Hellraiser boxsets too.. Thought the 1st Br was a classic..Nice pickups..

I actually mispoke about the BR boxed set:

Battle Royale = Region 0 (region free)

Grindhouse = Region 2

Hellraiser = Region 2

After Planet Terror several people got up and used the bathroom and bought snacks or just left, only half of the people in the theater stayed for Death Proof, pissed me off.

That Grindhouse boxset is niiice. I've been eyeing it up for a while but haven't got the heart to spend on it just now after getting both steel books. If it doesn't come out in the US at some point i'll probably go for it.

Yea I have both 2 Disc sets as well, but I just copied them and didn't buy them in protest. This is just what I wanted, I think eventually it will come around to the US, but I am not holding my breath, doubt it will be anytime soon.

I ordered the hellraiser/grindhouse sets on 3/25/08 by money order (3-5 day shiping), and ordered Battle Royale on 3/30/08 (5-10 day), and got them both in the mail on Aril 4th.

most us dvd players can be made into region free players. just find the code for your make of dvd player and point the remote toward the player and using the number key pad enter the code.
