i could here all the accents at some points like pronunciation of british and american words and then overall the lovely turkish side too it ;D i live in the uk too :)
love the whisper! Also, my parents are middle eastern so we eat alot of these foods at home as well! Especially hummus, i cant live without hummus! :DD
@Xqlusivity Hehe... Afiyet bal seker olsun valla :D Begendigine sevindim! :) Elimden geleni yaptim, baya kisinin cani cekti, turk restaurantlarina gitceklerini soylediler... Iyi oldu o yuzden :D Iyi bir fikirdi, cok tesekkurler! :)
@LoChAnBaBo That's so cool :) I think Turkish cuisine influences both from the Mediterranean and Middle East so I am not surprised :D Thanks for listening :)
Mmmm, Turkish food! There's an AMAZING Turkish restaurant near me that my friends and I have been to. Doner Kebap and yayla. Lezzetli! (hope I said that right!)
@InnateWhisper Yes delicious! Well done! :D Yayla soup is amazing... Oh and I hope I managed to get my own back for making me hungry in your videos ;D
Hi...This Mike B. from fb. I'm SO hungry watching this. I like Hummus very lemony, so I usually use the zest as well. I love a lot of garlic, but the 'bite' of it raw is a little strong for me, so I usually roast it beforehand. I love Dolma in just about every variety...But I've never come across a pre-made one I like (salad bars, etc.). I'm not crazy about vegetarian Moussaka...The texture throws me a little. I've made tons of diff Kibbeh...I usually put pine nuts in it. THANKS WC :)))X
@mjbab73 I totally agree... The pre-made Dolma isn't that good... Grilling garlic is great, I think that's the word I was looking for when I said pickled lol. You really do know your food don't you :) Thanks for sharing these amazing tips!! :)
This was awesome! My mom is half Turkish and she makes Rice Pilaf with Noodles and Stuffed Bell Peppers with Rice with Ground Beef and other stuff once in a while. Thank you for sharing!
@TrendyWhispers Oh I love Rice Pilaf, forgot to mention it.. Stuffed Bell peppers are similar to the vine leaf ones, and you can make it with tomatoes, courgettes, eggplants etc too.. So yummy! Thank you for listening!! :)
I could eat a BUCKET of olives! LOL. As I listened to the ingredients for some of the dishes, it occurred to me that there is a Mediterranean store not far from were I live. I have to say that there is just one thing in the menu I would have a problem eating and that would be the squid,Everything else including the wine leaf wraps I would love to try. I don't think I'm brave enough to make Baklava, filo doe is way too frail for my big hands...LOL
@WhisperPrayer Wow that's nice.. I love olives too :) I can't eat squid if I think about what it is... But actually it's pretty good (but I wouldn't touch the tentacles ever!!) The vine leaf wraps are delightful and fresh. Even I can't make baklava, but some seasoned cooks make it look so easy... :) Thanks for watching! :D
I really really enjoyed this video. I like to hear about different cultures and their foods. I really like Mediterranean food. A lot. But I have a very limited knowledge of it. Would you be willing to send me the instructions to make asparagus soup? My mother bought me a bunch of asparagus from the market and I have no idea what to do with it lol. Thanks!!
interesting video, though to be honest im never gonna make any of this. yea sorry to be like that i just want to stick to my own food. anyways, different and cool vid.
You caused me to like minestrone soup with your soups video; perhaps I'll also like Mediterranean food after listening to this. ^^

Considering that the Ottoman Empire ruled 3 continents for centuries (arab nations included) under one roof, that is only natural.
