In my opinion, Global Pulse should be focused in on what the media in these countries are really saying. Not just what the state-controlled English language int'l mouthpiece news stations say. @ulleule Tibet is not part of China. The theory that Tibet belonged to China in the ancient times does not sit well with the international community, but China ignored it and took Tibet by force. Same to Vietnam. On the world map, Paracel and Spratly Islands belong to Vietnam for centuries. China wanted more lands and natural resources, on 01/19/1974 they took Paracel Islands from Vietnam by force, and again on 03/14/1988 Chinese navy took part of Spratly Islands from Vietnam.

Indian potential is great, but potential never exactly translate into actual real life problems because it requires specific, highly focused, intense training, and help from all sources.
China rose great because it inherited Hong Kong manufacturing, and had a lot of foreign investment. It learned from Hong Kong's managerial and international expertise experience and took equipment and production methods from Western firms to better her nation.
It's a risk, but China took it.

India is doing well. China is doing equally well, growing a tid bit faster, but with a head-start.
I am assuming if this trend continues, India and China will be very powerful countries by 2020 and 2030.
I really hope India and China do not become Cold War rivals, because that would mean the end of the world if India decided to ally with US against China.

In my opinion, Global Pulse should be focused in on what the media in these countries are really saying. Not just what the state-controlled English language int'l mouthpiece news stations say.
