I was sort of an Airplane head. Listed to them starting with Crown of Creation up to about Thirty Seconds Over Winterland. Later I picked up After Bathing at Baxters. I sort of gave up on them after Sunfighter and Thirty Seconds Over Winterland. Jorma and Jack were both big favorites of mine on guitar and bass and I followed them in Hot Tuna. I saw them in the spring of 1970 at a festival in East Lansing. I was in sixth grade at the time.
Me too ..........always a Paul and Grace fan......I have always loved this song and it never failed to inspire me and listening to it sent me to a place that I always found joy.
What a great album. I know it sounds weird, but I was not so much an Airplane fan, but more of a Paul and Grace fan. Empire, Sunfighter, Tollbooth. Man, that all takes me back.
@sunfighter86 I totally agree with you, much more a Paul&Grace Fan-Check "The Rock&roll Orchestra-same deal-a Paul&grace comp&AMAZING-These albums,BLOWS AGAINST THE EMPIRE/SUNFIGHTER/ BARON VON TOLLBOOTH&THE CHROME NUN/THE PLANET EARTH R&R ORCHESTRA ARE SOME OF THE BEST ALBUMS MADE ON EARTH! i LOVE YOU JEFFERSON WHATEVER FOREVER

Booths for topless lady psychiatrists? @1:39 looks like one of David Crosby's favorite hang-outs. Good morning San Francisco crazies!

I just recently heard about this song, and its similarity to " Sultans of Swing" by Dire Straits (just listen to the middle of this song.
It's always been a hobby of mine to find these fun facts, and after reading about this one, I must say I was very pleasantly surprised.
Cheers

I would love the pic at 3:42. I have never seen it before. Janis and Grace with the American Flag in the back. Can you somehow send it to me?
Great song by the way. :)
