The Grand Cannon in RA2 is new and improved. It once fire 1 shell at a time. But now, it can fire 5-6 shells with it's 2 x 150mm cannons. Too bad, it travels at a slow pace, letting other enemies give enough time to escape the bombardment.
How did you say so?? Last thing I remember was that during the final Uprising mission, Lt. Eva introduced the Pacifier. But I don't remember anything regarding the acquisition of this weapon by kidnapped Soviet scientists
So lemme get this straight, the Soviets are planning to create another heavy artillery ad if they succeed, they will have a total 3 types of artilleries (Mortar Cycle, V4 Rocket Launcher and the Pacifier), right?
The Siege Tank Mk. 2 from SC2 and the Pacifier from RA3 Uprising have their same abilities: Deploy into a cannon and targeting through enemies in striking distances.
What's the Difference between the Grand Cannon from RA2 and the Pacifier F.A.V. (In full: Field Artillery Vehicle) from RA3 Uprising? And what's the difference between the Prism Tank from RA2 and the Athena Cannon from RA3 ?
the ra2 grand cannon is a stationary defence while the pacifier can move around to deploy the cannon, pacifier tends to miss moving objects while grand cannons don't.
prism tanks fire a plasma beam that bounces off its target, damages other units in the process, smilar to the weapons of ra3 mirage tank. athena cannon only fires on concentrated beam at a single target from space, has a hard time targeting moving objects, prism can hit moving objects.

Japan's Giga Fortress is something that looks like a Protoss mothership. and now the Allies have something that looks and is like a siege tank. even the desolator kinda feels like a hydralisk or something.

Not exactly, these scientists were forced to work for FutureTech and the Allies. They have developed Pacifiers before Soviet commander rescued them.

Is the Allies were more powerful in RA3 Uprising than in RA3?
Superfrycook 1 year ago
@Superfrycook
there are pretty much the same but the addition of the new units do make them tougher in latter/prelong games

The Pacifier looks like in StarCraft 2, why is the Pacifier looks like a Siege Tank?
Superfrycook 1 year ago
@Superfrycook
it is known in the industry that starcraft and command and conquer copies each other, some stuff was also copy from warhammer 40k.
