Tribes use iti n times of war, actors use it on stage to stand out from far, other people use it to be artistc, add on eyebrows if they don'thave em, etc. It's not as simple as you make it seem.

It certainly isn't her best in terms of being on pitch and sounding good. In terms of raw emotion, it's amazing. But just like all singers, she wasn't singing her best while sick. Being sick makes it very difficult to achieve the energy and breath support necessary to sing loud, high parts as well as soft, breathy parts (which require a great deal of control). It doesn't make her any less of a great singer to have had a bad performance when sick.
