  • Hahahaha...so i guess it takes 5 Christians to reset a circuit breaker? typical considering 4 of them would probably be sitting around praying, waiting for god to flip the switch....so pathetic.

But on a more serious note, how ignorant can you be to try to make all Christians conform to the "christian worldview"? There is one world, and many Christians, thus logically there will be multiple "christian" world views.

heres a thought, put the bible down, and think for yourself.....

  • I would rather see the world turned upside down BY the Glory of God. I will rejoice in persecution for my faith, that i may be counted worthy to suffer for the Name. My faith doesnt need defending, nor does my God. He is mighty to save! ( do you know that the words DEFEND and FAITH do not even appear in the same sentence anywhere in the bible?) I long to see Chuck replace his "Christian world view" with Christ's world view.

  • @Dano853 CONTEND for the FAITH. cf. Jude 3 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort [you] that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. Contend (-ing)

    Vine's Expository Dictionary:

epagonizomai signifies "to contend about a thing, as a combatant" Jude 1:3. The word "earnestly" is added to convey the intensive force of the preposition.

    Blessings...

  • @Shulamitefire Ah yes I agree. However, Jude is talking about contending for the "faith that was delivered to you...". He is speaking of defending and maintaining the INTEGRITY of the Gospel as it was received withing the CHURCH (as indicated in vs 4.) against those who came INTO the Church to corrupt the Gospel. I will conceed that my statement "my faith does not need defending" is easy to misunderstand. Rather, my faith does not REQUIRE others to accept it. Blessings to you as well.
