  • He came to the Red Barn in Gonzales, La. in 1968. I had a102 fever. I'd just seen the Cleveland Browns Stomp The Saints in their very first game. He was Fantastic!!. I went outside to cool off, & the band was on break. Before I knew it I was in the break room. Had as great a time talking joking Laughing with him & his lady as I did dancing when he sang.  A night to always remember!

  • @NANDO218 sometime my mom says the same thing to me. that i was born in the wrong decade because i listen to all the oldies and the only time i hear nowadays music is on the radio and not by choice.lol

  • This was the favorite song to dance by at a social event back in 1968. Oh, what a time it was to hear this song come on and you go and search for your very special person to get a dance with. This song brings back some truly wonderful memories that will never die in my heart.
